I understood a few of the call backs but wished it was pointed out a little better too xD.

Ironically, most of my sanity points get replenished when I see a new Call of Cthulhu upload.
And then by end of the video my sanity is back to 0, and I'm temporarily insane until the next upload

yes! i have tried to watch other interactive storytelling vids and can't make it through because the ST isn't as good as Dom - i've been spoiled!! The only other one that has kept me intrigued is mark meer and the arkham libraries and graveyards series at chaosium
If you like doms DM style check out his podcast "apocalypse players" he doesnt always DM but he is always great as a PC
Fun fact! With sullivan playing Walter Stickler, this is the first time a person is playing a character that is descended from another, while that previous character played by a different person! (The original stickler was played by laurie)

Constable Pete Quinell came back to life to play. Plus I can't believe Dom let him play after he assassinated his character all those Call of Cthulhu games ago.

My favourite part is the characters everyone comes up with each episode
The realisation that this was a built narrative of every campaign so far made this much much more daunting. The storytelling was genius and terrifying. Really rewards people that have taken the time to understand the lore so far. If Dom somehow mixes the two American based stories of the Y files and the western campaign it would be crazy! I’m just waiting till he states the name Cthulhu. The community is going to go crazy 😂
When i started to realize that i was floored tbh. Dom really is a masterful writer for these games

Now having finished the video, I loved it. Everyone's characters were lovely, the baddies were bad, and the callbacks were delightful. Props to Sully for keeping up the "nth worst whatever" bit. I love how Dom ties his maddening world together each time in what I assume will be called The Domniverse.
Also, glad that SOMEBODY made the stag joke, I'm just surprised it was an NPC and not one of the players. And I have to say, the intro was glorious. Confusing at first, until you learn the reason for the road trip. I hope they give that place a bad review.

I really love these Call of Cthulhu episodes! For some reason I didn't expect all of these scenarios to get blended together, but what a lovely surprise that was!
After so many appearances in these games, it's great to see Pete finally make an appearance in these games.

The fact we get these sort of videos regularly now makes me extremely happy I love these videos so much chaos and amazing story telling
I’m from the US and I even was yelling “All Creatures Great and Small!” when Dom brought up James Harriet. Apparently growing up watching British comedies and dramas has given me more pop culture knowledge than people who grew up in the UK 😂

After finishing this once more I need to praise Dom’s storytelling ability. Every reference had my partner and I on the edge of our seat and love how everything is interconnected. Amazing story, wonderful characters and can’t wait to see what more torture Dom has in store!

@@ciaranbyrne6255It was actually Holly’s Character, and her character did a similar thing twice in the same 1-shot! Tilly’s Character was probably scared at the scene and in a corner.
These Call of Cthulhu episodes are a treasure in themselves, but they're made even better by such amazing guests. So cool to see Liv in this one!
I made a playlist of all Yinz Cthulhu videos called Call of Cthulhu "Chaotic Mythos". And I had an inkling of a thought that each season was three episodes, and the last episode of the season had an Orange back to the words Call of Cthulhu instead of Green, and I was right. I love watching your videos with my Grandfather, he loves them as much as I do. Hallo from the State of Pennsylvania in the USA.
Edit: it's the Green ones that mark the end of a season, sorry, I confused myself.

Just want to give a shout out to the soundtrack for the episode. Special shoutout to the track that was used in "The Loathsome Slime" by Apocalypse Players. I loved it then, and it totally fits this one too. Good choice!
Sound effects and songs are always top notch in your episodes, but The Loathsome Slime is a favourite of mine as someone who is unhealthily obsessed with the Antarctica.

@@lazykbys His family wasn't murdered, Stickler was just a horrific and careful serial killer. He sees his family at the end of yellow sign in a hallucination though.
