There's a car park and a launch point for the kayak 2 mins drive from there. There's many wild camping spots in that area and they're fairly safe as nobody wanders that area at night.

@@offcamping Yes. Also if you go the tidal side of the Eling bridge you can wild camp on some of the reed islands and as you paddle out from Eling bridge there's some wooded areas on the right you can wild camp in but be up early before the dog walkers come along.
As you paddle down the test past the container dock there's a long deserted beach on your right with a couple of shipwrecks on. Another great wild camp.

Mudlarking permits are only required on a certain section of the Thames. No other rivers or estuaries.

Looked like you were cooking on and sleeping on the biggest mattress in the world! Canoeing in the dark must be a bit scary. "Chicken a la pontoon" should be an option when you open your restaurant.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it. But my arguement against selling out is if you'll get to do something you want to do like canoeing and camping, it's not too bad. Normally I work 40 hours a week doing something I don't enjoy. So which would you rather do?.
