    Harika was really struggling throughout the tournaments but man she gave us the biggest relief by scoring an important victory, she basically confirmed us the gold medal quickly by her amazing play

    Participating in 10 olympiads is a very big journey... A long time player in Indian Chess history. May be this season did not go well for her, but she totally deserves a special recognition by FIDE and India. Koneru Humpy is another such player we have. Its happy to see many youngsters are taking this legacy forward.

      @@Feisty123 sometimes when you are constantly used to speaking English, it may not be the case, ahe is used to speak in english as she travels throughout the world for tournaments, gives tones of interviews, also coach is also used to speak in english so sometimes unintentionally it happens that people get used to the language which is not their mother tongue, have seen it multiple times hence saying...my personal pov... it's not that frequent..

    I have to say, i met Harika and Arjun few days ago at a CBI event in Hyderabad, they were so kind to the kids who wanted selfies and autographs. I was really rooting for them. At the end, team results matter and im happy Harika won when it mattered the most

      Yes, you are right. In the beginning, while all other three Indian women - Harika , Vaishali & Vantika - were serious (read tense), Divya was seen laughing & joking with the team's captain Abhijit Kunte (that too in marathi)....😅❤😊
