Really wonderful set of songs. I particularly like towards the end of “Si Je Pourrais Oubliet” where Kristi and Christine are looking in wonder and amusement as Anja is doing some stratospheric fiddling. At the end, Kristi gives her a bump on the arm and everyone starts laughing. You all seem to be enjoying each other’s music and company so much - it’s a wonderful thing to see (and hear).
That moment makes me laugh everytime I listen to that tune - and I listen to that tune over and over!
The whole set is amazing but when you play that tune it really gets to me. Timeless, poignant, heart-breaking - all the things that make me love Cajun music.
Thanks!
Beautiful
You make my day
I've a dream : to meet you, Christine, Kristy and Anja at "Old" Orléans - France annual francophonie festival. I'm making lobbying to succeed. In case, I wish i'll sing with you, your songs are fun and I sing a lot of your songs.
