Eli played well for the Bengals.
I actually played Taysom Hill in Flex the week he played against the Seahawks (picked him up off waivers), since half of my WRs were facing shutdown CB matchups and I only had him (recently picked up) and Kyle Pitts (yes, you can laugh). He ended up getting, like, 42 points that week, and pretty much singlehandedly won me my matchup there.
Then proceeded to pick up, like, 2 points the next week when I played him at Flex again. -_-

I have mixed feelings on that. He has gotten better this season, but that tweet he made after the Bills defeat did not age very well.

The Taysom Hill fantasy confusion reminded me of Craig Biggio (MLB) in the early part of his career where he qualified as a catcher in many fantasy leagues but was a starting 2B. Nice bit of positional flexibility. And yes, I'm old

Hilarious as always! Nice recap, as a life-long Steelers fan, I think the most annoying folks are off the field. Matt Canada being the first, the second being Ben Roethlisberger, he set the team back 3yrs minimum by staying too long and not looking to develop players behind him. Sad end to a decent career.

Bahaha, fair enough, yinz may be right. I'll surrender my Kevin Greene, Bam Morris and Kordell Stewart jerseys. Just because i feel like he held on too long doesn't negate his time with the team, the team won with him at the helm. I just think that his refusal to help guide Mason Rudolph and him staying on for the '20 & '21 seasons hurt the franchise. He was looking out for his own legacy and not allowing the team to move forward without him.
The thing with Eli being the NFL equivalent of Pat Bev is that Pat Bev actually accomplish something.

People don't realize though about the SB he held Kupp to like 38 yards but got beat like every other cb on that td. It's Kupp he had 2k yards no one was stopping him but Eli was till that td

As a Bengals fan Eli Apple has always either sold the game (Most of the time) or had a mid tier level performance. I'm tired of trash talk and happy to get rid of him.

I have always had Tysom Hill at QB in bestball. Worked out great too. Now he is TE. Also, the dude is older than you think. I'm mostly avoiding him this year, but he does play the falcons twice.
Before watching this video, I have a feeling Eli Apple may be at the top of the list.

Eli Apple was on an elite college team, and is a 7 yr veteran but never become the lockdown corner everyone hoped. But he's back on an Elite NFL club. Cooper Kupp, arguably the best WR of 2022 beat him when the chips were down. Not really burnt any worse than anyone else... wonder if Sauce Gardner could cover 2022 Kupp.

Texans fan here, it puts a big smile on my face every time I think how the Browns paid $230M guaranteed, 3 1st round picks and a 3rd, for a guy who only played 3.5 years, and has 1 playoff win. He's not clutch, he was gifted a 24 point lead against the Cheifs and then got blown out 51-7 after that.

for me, it's Marcus Peters this season. From playing pretty mediocre and having multiple outbursts on the sideline it just has me pissed every time. Like in the Saints game, at the end an honest mistake happened where everyone on the defense thought he was out of bounds and he was in, resulting in a touchdown. the game was pretty much over, but instead of saying "my bad" and moving on or just chucking it to a mistake anyone would have done he freaks out on the sideline even though everyone was calm. Made the win not feel so good, honest okay if he leaves in free agency this off-season

Or Gabe Davis (who goes weeks without catching the ball) being the Bills no. 2 WR when he is mostly praised for his blocking ability--which is ironically better than the Bills TEs who now catch way more!

As a bengals fan Eli Apple off feild doesn’t annoying because I don’t keep track with that stuff but what he does on the field does like he gets burnt all the time some times when I see Eli Apple I mistake him for running burnt toast

Pat Bev's defensive abilities are elite, he is a fantastic leader and on top of that his ability to analyze film and adjust/teach is off the charts. Yes, his offensive abilities arent great but he is a great player.

Everyone forgetting that JaMarcus Russell exists.
Only reason I wouldn't consider Zach Wilson as one of the biggest busts ever, is because he wasn't considered to be that high of a pick, til hype trains started, that somehow convince teams to ignore everything else for that. Atleast with Leaf, JaMarcus, and even Rosen, they were considered top prospects almost the entire time. Meanwhile guys like Wilson and Trubisky, had one good college season, got super hyped up, and two dumb management teams took them way to high.
