Fall Series 2023: Republic Services 2038

It’s been a minute since our fleet has gotten pretty boring and I try to spend my time off away from work, but I know many of you have asked for another Republic video for some time now. We got this in over the summer to replace the old Ford F650/ Heil Retriever out of the Falls shop. This size wise is in between that and the old International/ PT1000 we had when I first started. To my knowledge, this is the first Mack MD video on here. For an medium duty chassis I think it is pretty decent. The PT1100 body is solid and the packer is fairly quick, but the biggest gripe with this one is the speed (or lack there of) of the cart dumper. It did give me flashbacks of all of our old ones to see another one with grips.
The truck was working recycle on a Wednesday morning in Canal Fulton. You will actually see a leaf vac from the city make a guest appearance in the video.
