Be ware of scammers! I will never DM you, I don't have Telegram, WhatsApp or Lime accounts. Anything there is fake and from a scammer. There are no ADA giveaways.
And did a fantastic job of it too. The chain is resilient to this type of attack and has ample of room to be tweaked for further scaling. Thank you hacker for testing and pushing the chain to the limits. Your ADA will be put to good use.
This really needs to be looked into much deeper... imo it seems there's more to this than what we are seeing at surface level.... what are the possibilities that this wasn't staged by those who offered the solution? Just a thought...
For a few thousand ADA? Not really worth it but... follow the ADA Here is the funding wallet from Kraken exchange: cardanoscan.io/address/01994b8f96454ec8669f665f5a1fb785eb2d1a430da7770cf9fedfde8c09741fefb1930568664a04749f94261607f75b86c7959eb7201290b1 Just need to ask them nicely to investigate who sent those funds since they are a KYCed centralised exchange.
Anyone can DDoS any network, website etc. It's just a matter of cost, time and resources. Solana gets DDoS and their network goes down, banks get DDoS and no one can access websites etc. The important thing to note is that Cardano transactions kept powering on. People still kept on trading although it was just a lot slower than normal.
Good luck Argentina hahah, man if its getting DDOS attack simply means its depend son the Web2 technologies to run and its not built right, this is so stupid that's how far marketing can go making people invest in something which is not innovating and its not fully decentrilized.
I don't think you understood what happen. You hear DDOS and you think multiple computer attack the network... what really happened was the attacker made a bunch of wallets and performed a bunch of transactions at once. Which can be done to EVERY blockchain. It is how you defeat such attacks that makes it web3. In this case. By stealing their funds lol

🤣😂🤣 You don't spam Cardano, Cardano spams you.
lol totally and we get paid. Transaction fees and donations to Anastasia Labs
No need to attack chains like SOL. SOL goes down on its own. 😆
I find it strange to have an update stats page: status.solana.com/uptime?page=1
It really should be assumed that it is never down.
It's nice seeing such positivity.
Always!
That's so awesome. I'm glad the community is full of watchers and defenders!
Indeed! There are some brilliant devs out there in the Cardano community
hell yeah baby! cardanians rule!!!
oh yeh
People complained about it being built slowly... well this is one reason why.
Totally
"Built like a tank."
Like a heavy Mammoth tank.

Confirmed. Cardano devs are bullies 😀
Lol. Double confirmed ✅

The Cardano marketing team is working overtime. Well done.
It sure is!
Loved it, thank you sir! ❤
Most welcome!
Go Cardano! What grounds would someone take for legal action though? I don't see that happening, but I'm curious if there's another point of view.
Not sure actually. I read that in some States in the US, is illegal to perform a DDoS and is a punishable offence
*Brilliant!*
Yes sir
Nice recap call
Thanks!
Degens hate ADA holders, but Cardano community the real Geekz dawggg, they remind me of the early 90s internet scene.
yeh
nice explainer
Thanks and welcome
This had me buy more ada
Good on ya
👍
Thanks Greger
The power of decentralization. Try Solana.
Try and DDoS it? Why would I do that. ?
Doesnt this also mean that they can do this to anyone they wanted to for whatever reason they want?
Anyone can DDoS any network, website etc. It's just a matter of cost, time and resources. Drained hacker? Clickbaity. Lost 1k, has millions more.
If they’re a Cardano dev doing it, they would not have millions. We’re all poor 😅
$250/hr for 12 hours is only $6k
Yes it was a very cheap attack by putting in a vulnerability into their script that doesn't perform any validation checks.
wow what a shitcoin LOL
I don't know what you're referring too as is most certainly isn't ADA as it easily beat and shrugged off that DDoS.
Good luck Argentina hahah, man if its getting DDOS attack simply means its depend son the Web2 technologies to run and its not built right, this is so stupid that's how far marketing can go making people invest in something which is not innovating and its not fully decentrilized.

This is brilliant.
