Great video. It gives a very good idea of the size of the Beverley. I'm glad I was able to donate to the Solway Aviation Museum to help save this aircraft and it's nice to hear a voice I recognise from my time at the Air Warfare Centre!
Freight bay would be similar, but square section, so better for awkward loads. Then there's the passenger/troop tail boom, so more payload than the Herc.
Thumbs-up for offering the old girl a home
Thanks and hopefully this aircraft will have a better future than her past.
Good luck chaps.
A mammoth task in more ways than one.
I’m sure you will do her justice 😊💪

Fingers crossed for a restored aircraft, maintained and loved for decades to come.
So much of it!😳
Would you be able to do an engine start eventually
very unlikely
I hope Storm Darragh doesn't cause problems... and that you can manage to get it assermbled before it corrodes away.
Shame they don't have indoor storage for it
I've seen her looking better! The poor old Beverley should never have gone to Fort Paull.
Is there any possibility of under cover storage for some of the items..
Smaller parts yes, bigger sections no (certainly for now).
Is the internal dimensions bigger or smaller than a C130 just curious
