Remember people, Before the Korg Nautilus, THIS keyboard was the closes thing to Kronos and we all know how great that joker is. Gigs of sounds, larger than any other keyboard rom, except Kronos so literally, this was the closest this to Kronos, sounding amazing. I think people just underrate it because of its body style, and the power adapter. Me tho, I absolutely appreciate it. This is definitely my next board along with the m50, also from Korg. Them two boards alone is a gig rig. Then I have the Korg king Korg already. Talk about a gig rig. I have other boards too. 10 to be exact. Maybe 11

Cara, deixei nse comprar um 4k quando ainda estava com os preço baixos bem antes da pandemia, agora tá 7k fácil... Sem chance. Por exemplo... E um comprei um Honda Civic 1997 por 14k a 3 meses atrás... Imagina pagar metade de um carro num piano (mesmo que top assim) não tenho coragem

Amigo prueba conectarte por la salida left y right y en l consola entrar en un canal estéreo, de lo contrario usa dos canales por separado y procura panear cada canal

Can anyone tell me which audio interface is the best for KORG Krome/Kronos..??? I have checked out a number of videos of these keyboards but the audio quality in those videos is not as same as when I played the keyboards..!!! I found the answer nowhere about which audio interface to use to these studio like beautiful sound...????

Korg krome or roland xps 30?
Best piano in this price range. Krome is definitely a category dominator
I purchased a Krome 61 back in January 2013. Since then I have twice returned the key board due to a number of keys that started to rattle. We are now June 2015 and some keys are again beginning to rattle.
What would you do in these circumstances..

Korg Excels in so many areas, but they've never gotten their piano sound right. As of 2018, you can get a better piano sound from a Casio WK workstation or Privia digital piano for half the price of a Korg Krome, And you don't have to spend two days tweaking it to make it usable. No excuse for korg to be behind the curve on core sounds, when their pads, and synth sounds are so good.
Don't think so. All professional reviewers praised Korg piano. One of the best sounds. 8 different samples for each note. Ppl complaining probably use sequencer mode that downgrade sound...

YES! After months finally I got my pianos back. I downloades and restored the original samples and did a factory reset. Now it almost sounds as yours. I think I'll get a equalizer to optimise the sound and get it as yours.

Hi Yash! I think so. I don't know why mine didn't sound as well as the video one, but after I restored the samples It sounded better. Now I've connected also a Behringer equaliser to optimise the output as I want.
John Helmhout Just a quick question here...why would anyone want to buy a Krome over...say an Arturia Keylab 88? (Midi controller with a free DAW that already has 5000+ sounds and analog modelling). I mean....I'm not really gigging anymore so I won't be transporting my keyboard around. Just wanted to know if having the krome makes things easier, because it definitely isn't cheaper.
i must say Korg krome has good quality tones as compared to Moxf .. and tones doesnt cut when i changed from one to another .

The korg krome is the best. When u have the best composer in the world Yianni playing 9 korg kromes in front of the Pyramids in Cairo you know you have bought a good keyboard

hello sir. i need help. i have a korg trinity 61 keys. i can record multiple tracks, but when i turn off the keybord, and switch it on. the recorded tracks are erased. Its the same with my korg TR 88. what is the problem? thanks alot, im getting a krome soon
+nestor pascual The recordings are stored in a temporary memory, which would be erased when you switch it off. Try saving it to a memory card.

It costs 85,000 rupees in India.... you can get it at almost every music store.... they might give you some waiting period... Furtadoss in Mumbai are the Korg dealers... in chennai you can get from Musee Musicals ....

I own a Korg Triton ProX. The piano sound on the Triton is so awful and plastic-y. I'm leaning towards the yamaha mox8 for acoustic sound, especially for piano, orchestral and wind instrument. I'm focusing a lot on the grand piano sound primarily. Should i get the korg krome or the yamaha mox8 with these criteria in mind. Thanks everyone for your input!

AdamM Putra I think Korg Krome has better sounds, a better Piano and etc... Korg Kross 2 is a line bellow, it’s a good one, it has some good functions, but talking about sound’s qualities, Krome is a better way

Sim, ele corta mas da pra configurar o knobs pra fazer uma transição suave entre 4 sons diferentes.
Yo ya tengo el Mi Propio Korg Krome Y Esta Excelente :') Y Si Quieres algunos sonidos como esos .. solo tienes que crearlos o sino bajartelos porque no todo te lo viene en el Sintetizador , saludos!

To prawda , fabryczne ustawienia to dość słaby dźwięk fortepianów. Pomaga praca z 7EQ ale i tak nie jest świetnie. Wiele dźwięków odstaje od równego poziomu i niestety same próbki mają coś plastikowego w brzmieniu , instrument nie oddaje tego co zapowiada reklama , że brzmi naturalnie dzięki dużej pamięci próbek fortepianu a tak nie jest. :/

I have the original Korg Triton and it's time for me to get a new board. I have been going back and forth between Korg and Yamaha. I am so used to the Korg interface and sequencer, but when I want to play piano songs the piano sounds on he Trtion are horrible. Mind you that was 2001 when I bought it. I'm sure Korg keyboards have come a long way now. Can anyone reassure me that the Krome will blow my Triton away?
Without a doubt! Korg used to be great synths with horrible piano sounds, but their piano sounds now are among the best. The sound engine and tone generators are completely different from the old Tritons. I used to own the Triton Extreme and the piano was rubbish, I bought the Krome and I can tell you it's a million times better, BUT... the Korg Krome has one of the worst keybeds I've ever played! Terrible! This is the perfect board but the keybed just ruins everything! If you want the same sounds with a proper keybed you're gonna have to fork out for the Kronos. I'm a Yamaha guy, but I've owned most boards. When it comes to piano sounds, Korg and Yamaha are the best right now. This is my opinion, some people might like Roland. I eventually sold the Krome and bought the Yamaha MOXF8, which is what I use now. Pianos just as good, all sounds on par with the Krome, BUT, one of the best feeling keybeds out there. If you're playing 76 or 61 key, you can choose between the Yamaha or Krome, but if you want the 88key piano feel, DO NOT buy the Krome, you will hate it
I'm thinking about buying a Korg Krome 61. Is It worth it? I currently have a Kurzweil PC3x and I'm searching for a keyboard that is more portable, that has great lead sounds, that you can program sounds with ease and that cost between 1000$ and 1500$. Would you recommend this one?
willidub1 For sounds, yes definitely go for it. My experience of the keybed on the Krome88 was not good at all, and from what I hear the 76 & 61 aren't great either, but if you're just using it for synth work you might not mind the feel. As a keyboard, sounds and performance, you won't go wrong with the Krome
What did you end up choosing to replace the God awful piano sound on your old Triton?
That's the problem with korg since the M3!!!!! I mean it has the ability to sound good, but you have to tweak you ass off to get a decent sound..Perimeters are complicated and useless... Definitely don't buy this if you are planning on Live performances.
YAMAHA MOX is a much better instrument!!!! Had both of these keyboards
J.J.A Florida I just miss the joystick. I bought the moxf6 and it does have it's weaknesses too.
MOX yeah it sure does:-( I'm just thinking krome my be a little better because layers and touch technology:-) ....I'm wondering why they don't up the Polyphony on all workstation to at least 192? Especially korg with they way it works in Layers.
BTW.... Back when I was a straight synth player, I would not buy it if it did not have the stick shift lol.,.
I 've buyed Roland xps30. It's just like JUNO DS, for playing Rock . It's too bad?

En el piano el MOX sii esta ya muy viejo con su full concert grand pero en sonidos acusticos prefiero el MOX, ademas ya conozco la libreria del MOTIF XS xd
