Both are great models. Both are great models. You can´t go wrong choosing either of them. I would choose also the Mini GT version. It´s nice this video comparing two same models from different brands.
I do think the Minichamps model looks better, the side windows, rear wing and tailights look more accurate. Sure the Mini GT has a metal base and roll pretty well, but it just looks a bit off.
I liked MiniGT more! Its competitor's wheels only look better because of the detailing of the brake discs, although the tires are bald. Shark blue is awesome color 😍
I think minichamps elected to not include calipers so the car could still roll well. On cars with brake detailing in this scale typically the brake disc and caliper are "fixed" so the wheel has to rotate around it to ensure the caliper doesnt constantly rotate with the wheel and end up changing position. It also causes most of those models to roll poorly due to issues with the rotating wheel rubbing on the brake rotor/disc. Minichamps probably figured better to have the disc attached to axle and roll with the wheel to ensure it rolls well and includes some level of brake detail but not have to worry about the caliper constantly changing position. That's my guess.
@tylergates772 Yeah and that would definitely make a lot of sense. Just wasn't too sure what to think as I believe that the 1/64 car I've seen with rotors and no caliper lol
@Booster_Diecast yeah I had never noticed one with only a rotor either. But after watching this video I checked my yellow version of the minichamps GT3 and it only has the rotor same as your blue one, but my 3 minichamps/tarmac GT3 RS (white w green, white w red, and yellow) all have rotors with calipers. Interesting.
@tylergates772 Yeah it's odd how they do some like that and not others. I really need to get more of the GT3 RS castings. The Acid Green version with the carbon details has been calling my name lol

I wanna get some more race cars and especially NASCAR and NASCAR Truck Series cars
@@ShawnstertheMonster Im not too interested in Nascar but it would add a lot more variety if Mini GT made some
Minichamps 1/43 models are excellent
Yeah but porsche 991 by herpa are better and cheaper
@@icantthinkausername1136 Minichamps does make some excellent 1/43 stuff. I'm just very picky about my 1/43 models
Mini champs looks cheaper (and a little worse) than minigt imo
@@IdontKnow-jt2oz Yeah I kinda agree
