Just read where haunted houses often can get more money than comparable non-haunted homes But houses where a murder has occurred get less. You’d think a home where a murder occurred would be more likely to be haunted . Go figure.
I've lived in a lot of places that supposedly are haunted and this town does not take advantage of any of that. I've been living here in Alton for about 5 years now and there are barely any of these haunted tours that they are prefacing on the special. They're barely any of them happening during October. If this town is supposedly so haunted why don't we take advantage of the tourism. God knows how to help us to repair the streets around here. Or possibly get business to come back here. Or something. They do nothing with it. All this seems to talk about is what kind of alcohol or whatever you can buy in this town. God knows we have more freaking bars than anything else here. Like that needs to be pointed out anymore. I was hoping that this little snippet of a special with them for me of some things in this town that I've been living in for 5 years instead of just the bars which God knows everyone already knows about. This was a disappointment.

I want to move down there when I retire. Never been there but I plan to visit this summer.
