I like how the video is called "Gone but not forgotten" but the scenes in the video are from parts of the railroad that literally are still there operating regularly.
The only scene that was used from a current operating portion of the Rio Grande was the last scene, which was on the San Juan Extension at Cresco. The first scene, is Monero, NM which was ripped up, the rest were scenes all based off of parts that don't exist any more.
@@jdgfilms9595 I'm gonna be honest man, that's not really what I was getting at. The Erie Railroad is GONE... wiped out in a flood The New York Central is GONE... erased by it's successors The Southern Pacific is GONE... erased by it's competitor(though thankfully, many equipment is well preserved) Even the Rio Grande standard gauge is "gone" - all traces of standard gauge steam except for one prehistoric locomotive are GONE, and the railroad itself has also been gone for decades now. The Rio Grande narrow gauge still has two operating extensions of trackage that have never been ripped up(as in this is the original railroad grade, not a reconstruction) with substantial mileage(all things considered), and quite literally _dozens_ of not only preserved, but *_operational_* steam locomotives. From the original railroad no less. Idk, it feels a bit disrespectful to make a tribute to the one railroad that _was_ saved by calling it "gone but not forgotten" What does that make the Erie? Gone but definitely forgotten? The trackage may be inactive and ripped up, but the spirit of the railroad lives on, and that's what really matters to me.
Im guessing this is Trainz 19 by have a look at the graphics, but I noticed you said you used some of Prowler's (now San Juan Trainz works I believe) rolling stock/locomotives, how the hell did you get them to work on this new game? Im trying to get them on Trainz a New Era. Also, if you could give me the name of the coaches on the DLS that would be amazing. Thank you and great video!
@@jdgfilms9595 Oh wow, I thought that was TS19. My bad.. How did you get the cars from San Juan Trainz Workz to work on T:ANE? Thank you for the coaches also, I found togog's engines but not his cars. :)
