Don't forget to add that 14th cup of Brown Sugar, it's literally thee KEY to making the best Candied Cashews/Pecans!!!.. Also Vanilla Extract and Salt!! They are the key helpers but mainly that brown sugar added to the white sugar!! It'll taste just like the time you went to the State Fair or the Gun Show and it's all hot and freshly made and mmm tasting so good!! I'm tellin ya you'll thank me later!! And also don't forget to froth/eisk up that egg white THEN add the nuts, mix it up real good and coated fully and then take the next steps!!... Enjoy y'all!!
I made them, step by step from your video. By far the most delicious snack I've ever made. Everyone who tried them, loved them. I guess I'm using your video again and again. Thank you, Julie. :)
@@gregoryroberts4012 Hi Gregory, I haven't tried making them with the dark brown sugar so I can't tell you how they will turn out but I don't see why it would change the outcome. If you do try the dark sugar please let me know how they turn out and again thank you for watching this video.
It's me again. I happen to buy in bulk and this year it was cashews. But they are raw. I usually roast them in a castiron pan during the time my gallon of milk for homemade yogurt is heating up to 180 degrees. My question is: do I have to roast them for this treat?
I’ve been making these for a while now and they’re REALLY GOOD
Appreciate this video a lot
Nana used to make them. Brought back sweet memories. ❤

HI DENISE, thanks for watching.
I can see how those could be addictive, they look delicious. Thanks for sharing them Julie. Be well my friend.
HI HATCH, they are very good and way cheaper making them yourself. Thank's for watching.
The yolk and shell goes great in compost
Steven, thank you for watching glad you like this recipe.
These are so good!
Black T Built, they are yummy, i need to make some more
Why don't you add everything at once and stir only once? Seems more efficient than stirring, adding ingredients, stir some more, etc.
Thank you so much for the video!👍🏼 going to make this now!🥰
Thank you for watching, hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Thank's Justin they are pretty good.
Looks good

Jerome, I didn't roast mine ahead of making these but I don't think it will hurt to roast them it might make them even better.
For the recipe do you need brown sugar or can you just use regular sugar for both?
Joe, I'm not sure about that I have always used the brown sugar but you can try it and see how it turnes out. Thank you for watching.
@@JulieRobinson6969 used honey instead of brown sugar came out great also crunchy and chewy but I know someone that would disagree my dentist LOL
@@joef3299 Honey is a great option ,glad to hear they turned out good for you , maybe I will give it a try next time. Thanks Joe
At what temp did you set the oven?
300 degrees
Looks great, but don’t like cinnamon. I make something similar with pecans, but I cook it in a pan on the stove top.
Hi Frank, I would like to see you recipe maybe you can do a video on it.Thanks for watching.
How long did you cook them for and what temperature we need to know that part as well.
I cooked them at 300 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes. Thank you for watching.
@@JulieRobinson6969 hi Julie I just wanted to say two years later,, I’m still making your cinnamon cashews in the oven right now. Lol
How do you store them?
You can put them in an air tight container or a zip lock bag would be fine.
what temp was the oven
300 degrees thank you for the comment.
Will do and then get back to you.
Thanks jerome
I was hoping you would have had the temperature of the oven you said 20 to 25 minutes any of it but no temperature
Thank you.
Can't wait to try.🙋🩷
