A superb hornpipe taken from a Northumbrian Pipers' tune book, although this tune is also found in Irish and Scottish repertoires too. We played it in F as it has a beautiful richness to it, but also to please all you Northumbrian pipers out there! A behind the scenes rehearsal video is available at www.patreon.com/thegoodtune
Featuring Kevin Lees (fiddle) and Sebastian Bloch (guitar).

A great tune we play it with The Factory Smoke another hornpipe from the North East.
Great combo of tunes!
sig mig hvordan stemmer du den guitar -dgdghe ?
Hej! Den stemmer CGCGCG og har capo på 5. bånd.
Alt godt,
Sebastian
CGCGCG Interesting (as well as excellent) - Do you have to buy separate strings to get that or just a standard set.@@thegoodtunes
A great tune from Northumberland. Just the tiniest of quibbles but the emphases are a little too classical. The first of four beats should be a touch heavier.
What a weird post. He found a fresh approach to a hoary old session standard, with delightful lift and delicacy. He's deeply embedded in the Northumberland tradition, and played for a leading Rapper side. That's why his playing is so danceable...
