This will be a regular sight in the future, the Class 805 on Holyhead workings, we will take this in electric mode as far as Crewe and then for part 2, it will be diesel mode along the North Wales Coast to Holyhead. Using the excellent reskin from Semaphore Sim, a slightly modified scenario from Alan Thomson Sim and of course the enhanced sound pack from Armstrong Powerhouse.
This is Part 1 and then 2 months later after the longest tea break in history you can see part 2 now - • Part 2 - London Euston...

Great video ! There is one thing i need to say though, these new Avanti units are limited to 110Mph because they have no tilt.

Thanks, much appreciated - yes I knew about the 110, a bit of artistic licence to make it a bit quicker - just finally finishing off part 2 - should be up pretty soon.

I don’t think they are now as a couple of years ago the line was changed so all trains could do 125mph maybe I’m wrong

Wrong - the line speed is being increased in certain bits to allow for 125MPH running non EPS

Yes it is, first of all it's the Armstrong Powerhouse Track enhancement and then there is a free download from ATS Simulation which adds to it - massive kudos to the people who create these things!!

You do know about the speed select on this unit? It’s operable with the . And , keys and I believe you press CTRL and . To activate it

Thanks for watching - yes indeed, I use it for most of the run & I don't tend to when at the lower end of the scale or if the speed limit drops slightly - must be very useful for real drivers when there are hills - there were brief periods too when I very occasionally missed the speed limit reduction.

Did the installer work for you ok? I have an error. It can't find: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\AP\Assets\DTG\Class801Pack01\RailVehicles\Elec
tric\Class801\AP\Scripts\c800-destinations.lua
When I look in the folder there is no lua file.

Ignore me. I appear to have fixed the issue by... deleting a folder. Not quite sure what I've done but it works haha. Nice video btw, great conversational commentary.
