There’s no way on this earth that poch didn’t want new top pro signings for the team! He was promised a rebuild and it didn’t happen! Levy was offering him lower quality players that were no better than what he had at his disposal! So many lies! What a joke. 🤷‍♂️

There’s a huge disconnect between the fan expectation, led by ticket price and a world beating stadium vs mediocre investment into potential, not worldies. That’s the crux of it in my view as a season ticket holder.

Jose wins before Spurs, wins nothing at Spurs, wins at his next job. Conte wins before Spurs, wins nothing at Spurs, wins at his next job. Yeah right, it's the managers and not the owners.
The idea that Poch didn't want to sign any players is total BS, and who told him that?... Steve "I hate transfer windows"Hitchen. The club is rotten to the core and it all starts with Jordans mate and MOT Levy

It's as though he sees it as a game of oneupmanship with the other club and he wants to come away from the negotiations feeling that he's won rather than doing what's best for the club.
For example, he dragged out the sale of Berbatov for so long that the club was left with very little time to find a replacement.

Levy is the only consistent problem spurs have .... Wouldn't pay for Raya , we get vicario , wouldn't pay for Diaz , we get Johnson , it has been like that for us ever since he's been there , countless times going for the temu option , always going for other clubs 2nd or 3rd options .... The greatest example was when poch worked miracles and built a top side on very little money we won the lottery with those players as in paying relatively small fees for players that become top players , that squad there was our chance , it was our golden ticket to Cement our place in regularly challenging , all we had to do was take that last step and invest with more quality each year like the big clubs do , get rid of a couple , freshen it up with a couple .... We had waited forever to finally be in that position and what did levy do when poch was begging him for a rebuild ? He sacked him and then let our squad rot for three years , completely undone everything and now we're back where we were again , trying to nick forth for a successful season .... These pundits make you laugh , he is with out doubt your biggest problem

Soo does that make Levy right in trying to save the club money and get bargains like bale, Modric, Berbatov etc in? @jackwelford417 what I'm trying to say is levy got incredibly lucky in how that worked out , both with players and manger , it's the sort of thing that happens once in a blue moon !! Levy being levy then thought he'd cracked it and thought he could just repeat this method over and over again , as we've seen time and time again it can't happen because it's impossible to assemble teams like that , otherwise everyone would be doing it 🤷 there's no debate here , it's played out Infront of us ever since that weasel has been in charge , we buy everyone else's 2nd choices , I'm proven right , we were a club always trying to knick a top 4 spot , then we got into a position were we always wanted to be , cementing ourselves as genuine contenders , but instead he let us rot , i always said we will finally see where his true ambition lies when we get ourselves into a postion like we were , will he go for big players like the successful clubs or will he revert to type....then he completely ruined us , its not even a debate 🤷 he proves it time and time again

I honestly don’t know what players/signings you refer to, other than our “links” over the years with like luis Suarez, Bruno Fernandes, recently Eze and Ivan toney…what is this long list of players we “should have signed” 🤷🏻‍♂️ hindsight is a great thing but a lot of our big money signings were players with big reputations or at least talk of being the next big thing, like lamela, Soldado, ndombele, lo celso, etc big money spent and wasted. But again you overlook the good signings like carrick, Defoe, Keane, Modric, bale, berbatov, van der vaart list goes on. And you say it happens once in a blue moon…just look at city.. had you really heard of Rodri before he went there? De Bruyne everyone laughed at them paying 50mil. Bernardo silva, David silva, Kompany, new guy savinho…I mean they were hardly everyone’s number 1 targets you bang on about? But they did spend £100mil on Jack Grealish …who now has hardly started a game for city this season 😬 Again I don’t know who you think we can realistically go for in the market that we haven’t done already and get? Please don’t say Eze this summer…injured again for palace and hardly pulling up trees when he has played but some spurs fans are obsessed with us buying the “flavour of the month” player and moan when we don’t. Sorry I just don’t get it.

My mindset is that you should always have 2 for every position. However, with Spurs, we always get or go after players who can also play other positions. Take the midfield for example. We need a 6, but we have players who can play 6 but are 8s. We bought Gray who is supposedly the 6 we're looking for. Yet he is another who can also play another role. In this case, a right back and the 8. Due to all of this, we have a depleted squad when we get hit by injuries, which is what you are seeing. Romero and Van de Ven are out. So Dragusin and Davies will be the starting centre backs. Again, we see a LB in Davies, who can play at CB, now slot in.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Personally I can't see it working out with Tuchel, I think we will go back to making at the most a Quarter final, but, if we do win then it will go down as a Anglo/German win not just an England win. This is international football where the nationality is a key part of the presentation, so the manager being German will have a huge influence in what ever result there is. Personally, I think International football should be managed by a manager with the same nationality. Other wise the whole national component means nothing if not considerably less.

It’s very easy to allocate blame to managers, they didn’t perform, but with Tottenham managers are just scape goats. Maurinho and Conte have one thing in common, which they have in common with many managers, and that is that they didn’t win anything at Tottenham. Postecoglou has also won something at every club he’s managed and he’s 15 months into this job and the knives are out again. At some stage, reality needs to set in and the fingers need to be pointed in the direction of the common denominator, and not the endless string of highly successful managers that can’t get it right. Managers have changed, players have changed, staff has changed, and still, no silverware, but there is one thing that hasn’t changed and it’s abundantly clear where the problem lies. Tottenham is the third most profitable sports franchise in the world, and the most profitable football club in the world, which is clear evidence that it’s a very well operated business, which is what it’s all about for the owners, and to hell with the fans and silverware.

They do the bare minimum to keep the simpletons in the stands from becoming disgruntled completely. Trying to turn the club more into the American model of sports entertainment instead of proper successful team. From day one ENIC we’re very clear they are not football people but investors looking to make money from the club. There is such a thing called organisational culture. Sir Richard Branson wrote his book about it and how hard it is to change. It is certainly feasible that Spurs have a problem of culture within the club. Things like the way their fans behaved last season in relation to the Tottenham v Man City game bear this out. You could argue the fans do not make up the clubs culture, but Ange specifically stated that there were "people within the club" who held similar views. That is reprehensible and he probably should have walked then.

Spurs fans, you are spurs you don't deserve success. Levi has dragged you up from a mid table club to a club who's challenged for the league and been in a champions league final in the last decade. I get your frustration with not winning anything but honestly you guys don't have a winning history or culture.

Why should anyone care what the club is valued at? Yes they got a new stadium that increased ticket prices. He didn't build the stadium to save the manatee. He's filling his pockets with that money. Football is about winning not stadiums or club value. They're 10th in revenue and 20th in wages.
