WOW... that's a serious list ;) I think I can make a dent in it for you :) Beethoven-wise, I've had a couple earlier requests for the Appassionata, so that may be on the top there. My rh 4th finger feels immediately sluggish thinking about Feux follets, but what a great piece. What's the Chopin version of happy birthday - you mean Nahre Sol?
@@ZenandtheArtofPiano like rousseau has done Happy birthday in the style of franz liszt in the same way he is asking for happy birthday if it was written by chopin.I mean happy birthday chopin version
from frustration to plan b... I recorded several takes of the Heroic Polonaise and just wasn't feeling it, so I flipped through my polonaises for some inspiration and landed on this, which I had played at a bit as a teenager but not since. Anyway, I hacked through it a few times imagining I was Bruce Lee breaking boards alternating flying back kicks and short punches on each chord, then a couple times as if an edgy, elegant Argentinian tango - and it felt good!!! So I tried pressing record and it unexpectedly came out more or less Polish after a few takes, if yet a little raw...
thanks! never heard this before. watching it with my 1 month old atm and hes quietly staring at the keys, suckling his thumb and quiet QUIET...until it ends...im on the 4th watch in a row....make more vids. we need them...sorry for the 1 arm typing..
Awesome, my friend! I haven't played or looked at this in years! It's a great classical solo; and your fiery hot keys are truly smoking with Talent!!! 🔥🎶
I suddenly love it. I think I used to overlook it, seeing it in the shadow of a few of the other big polonaises and other Chopin showstoppers, but now it feels like a backdoor key to better understanding Chopin's more extroverted soundscapes.
Nicely done! 👍🎶 I've been started to learn the 2nd Piano Concerto by Rachmaninoff now. Its so much harder than I expected. By the way, could you play another Piece of Rach, pls?. Already the first impressed me.
Thank you! I love the 2nd Concerto!! It's really almost as hard as the 3rd. The key to the piece, as in a lot of music like that, is cultivating enormous expressiveness (and strength) in the rh pinky (and 3-4). After practicing the rest exhaustively, if you can focus 95% of your mental and emotional focus in the moment of performance on the single most prevalent single note/line at any given moment (and half the time it's in the rh pinky...), you're halfway there. A 2nd tip is to learn it all with a pizzicato touch, plucking from the first joint of the finger, followed by immediately relaxing the finger. More Rachmaninoff soon... the Vocalise ended up much cooler than I feel it...
Rachmaninoff coming your way, my friend, in a few hours... I was actually thinking of the 1st mvt of Rach 2 on two pianos then opted for something easier to realize as a first 2-piano effort...

I requested the Heroic and I totally wasn't expecting you to learn it so fast. You're amazing. I'll look forward to it.
@UC4-5HO3JUjltopqgHTYqFjw yes, this was going to be for you! I'll circle back to the heroic polonaise soon, promise ;)

Love that. You may have a young Pederewski on your hands.
If this video goes viral, I'll have the little ones to thank.
Such clean playing! You should do the Wrong Note or Revolutionary etude!
Thank you! I play those on a good day... I'll try to do one or the other sometime in the not to distant future
I just realized, you did the code correctly unlike some professionals I've seen play this piece. :) I love this interpretation :)
This man deserves more subs! Amazing performance, always loved this piece but never heard anyone play as good as you. Keep on the amazing work!!!!
