I've come to the conclusion that Absolution is my favorite album. It's a beautiful album that flows so nicely, and plus it has Fury as b-side, which is a the most badass song ever. Origin of Symmetry is pretty much tied with Absolution I suppose but man... Fury is so so good, especially live.
This song is so emotional, it sort of makes me happy yet incredibly hurt to listen to it. A life without God is a kind of darkness that Matt has obviously experienced and illustrates with this song. I wish I knew what the story was behind the kind of music he writes. It's amazing how from so much despair, a true masterpiece and priceless art has emerged. This song is amazing.
It's amazing how I never get tired of that band ! I listen to them every days like during 5 hours and I just keep thinking this is one of the best music band ever ! Their songs are so deep, they have meaning. I think that's what make the difference with bands like Jonas Brothers etc ...
They're amazing live... Most bands sound really different in person than on the record, all enhanced... But this is real. This is beautiful. This is Muse.
So emotional, complex , deep, mysterious yet beautiful. It's probably the 50 th time i'm watching it and i'm still enjoying. That's Muse power: it's sooo perfect u never get tired of it.
I am positively slayed by this music and vocals every time I hear it. The pure emotion that Matt evokes is heart-rending and at the same time he's so baaadasss. All choked up.
Muse deserve so much more recognition, but at the same time it is also good for them as well, because they know they have done a hell of a lot of hard work and they still need to do a hell of a lot more to surpass the standards they have set for themselves and for other rock bands and Muse are certainly going about it the right way.
hhh, just love this song!! and I think that the best live version is this one in LA, coz when matt played the first riff, it's like the earth stopped for a second!! and I'm not exaggerating!
In my opinion, this is the best live performance of Muse. Absolutely perfect: music, lyrics, voice,Matthew :3 . This were the days when even b sides where as beautiful as album tracks. Old Muse, come back.
I met Muse last month, all three, in DC. Got to spend some one on one time with each of them and they were all GREAT guys all around, very laid back. They said they plan on starting a US only tour in the March time frame!
All I care to hear about Muse is Matt angelic voice among the harmony and chaos of my favorite band. Rock on Muse your my gods. They're I've said it. :)
OH JESUS - I'd thought I'd seen everything Muse over and over - this is fucking great! Love that pretty guitar and Matt's upside-down guitar riff!! Thank you reydemagival!!
That part was epic. Also, after hearing this, I will never be able to listen to the standard recording of Fury again. This just kicks its ass in every way
I really felt as though rock reached its peak with Siamese Dream (thinking Quiet here). Since 92 the wave was rolling back, further away from the furious brilliance Corgan unleashed on the world Am very glad to see that I was wrong. Song is freaking unbelievable.
The intensity and passion Matt is putting in his performance here is simply amazing.

MUSE is a great band, Matt Bellamy is an amazing performer, super range of vocals, he really gets into his music, just awesome!
Such an amazing song! They should play it live more often!

The sound of this song is monstrously huge.
One of their most awesome songs!
Matt seems to fly with his guitar at the beginning :)
All I care to hear about Muse is Matt angelic voice among the harmony and chaos of my favorite band. Rock on Muse your my gods. They're I've said it. :)

I can't believe I missed this out here in LA. This was about the same time I was getting into Muse as well. Dammit.
2:55 to 3:15 is mind-blowing! Among the greatest breakdowns I've ever heard.

Also, after hearing this, I will never be able to listen to the standard recording of Fury again. This just kicks its ass in every way

i have been for over a year man...it doesn't go away...
This was when they hit their peak, no doubt. Even their B-sides were much better than most bands' best song. Nowadays they are much more hit-and-miss.

One of my greatest fears is that I will die without ever having seen Muse play live. The horror.... the horror.
