$1k for a minor league set - where many of the players have already had Bowman cards released this year in the two previous sets - is INSANE. each pack should have two autos and a few numbered cards at that price. No one should buy this. it's a really easy decision, almost grateful the price has gotten so absurd that it's not even tempting.
The problem is clear. Panini and Topps have increased their prices WAY too much to the point where the cards are worth half as much or less as the cost of the box 99% of the time. Value has not caught up and will not catch up if these companies continue to charge these prices only rich people can afford
The cards that look like parking tags are 'In Action' and theyre made to look like action figures. Like the old Starting Lineups or MacFarland figures.
The other day my lcs sold me a 2020 draft super jumbo for $500. And I pulled a max meyer 1st auto who’s a 3rd overall pick. Too bad for his injuries. Could’ve been a big card
@ericcraig3875 he'll be in 2025 Bowman, the spring product, so blasters and other, more reasonable options will abound, not locked into either 500+ or 700+.
Are all jumbo or hobby boxes of Topps baseball cards or any other Topps variations of sports cards a hit or miss; when it comes to low numbered cards or autos of top players? Because if it is, what’s the point of spending so much money just on one box of cards, when you may not even break even or get ahead?
You can’t have it both ways. If you just opened to open and collect and made no mention or concern regarding value it would be fine. But you are motivated the same that everyone else is to gain value. Therefore the prices spike. Some of you make me wonder if you learned about supply and demand? There’s no bad guy, no Fanatics phantom trying to screw you. If anything the quality control and variety in the new sets since Fanatics became involved are so much better than anything the past few years.
Everybody complaining about cost, yet almost every release in 2024 baseball has appreciated in value if you hold. As long as this happens, companies will continue to raise prices as they see there is more demand than production. If your kid wants to rip, get them a hanger box. It’s $12. This is a high end set that caters to investors. I never once opened this as a kid.
Bryce Rainer is a teen. All he did was he got 34 hits and he pitched. I was better in high school. I wish they handed out contracts like candy when I was a kid. Konnor Griffin is the same deal.
The only Fanatics products worth gambling on are the Bowman U products. They aren’t super expensive and it’s the only way to get the top basketball and football prospects autos (since Fanatics decided to ruin NFL and NBA products by offering college kids a STUPID amount of money for the rights to monopolize their autos for years) 🙄 edit: which is why I only collect baseball anymore, since the Panini NFL and NBA products cost as much as a cheap car for boxes with no top 5 autos.
I do know if it's just me or what but it seems like every year the price of these cards keeps going up and up but yet the hits keep getting harder and harder to pull. I really love this hobby but between the card companies raising prices every year and 2nd hand scalpers clearing shelfs and reselling products for 3× what they are worth it might be time to just find a new hobby because it's getting very old spending several hundred dollars on retail product and getting nothing.
Bowman draft is pricey at $1,000 but what can you do when employee salaries goes up boxes go up there's nothing you can do But Fantastic video Jabs!! Keep em coming!!!🎉
I love buying what I want(specific cards that I want to collect) but I also love ripping packs/boxes but the prices are outrageous. This is something that I want get my 7 month old son involved with but with these prices heck no!!! And breakers make the hobby worst! I love jabs and watching his videos because he’s in it for the hobby and we his viewers and fans of his are too but there are too many breakers that just like to profit off of people and don’t care for the hobby.
In it for the hobby? You do realize that he charges you a fee just to buy into his breaks right? Jabs is entertaining and better than most of the guys to watch but don’t mix that up with the fact that he still is making a business out of it. He’s not just doing to for the hobby.
Buy Topps Big League, or the new Holiday product, if you just want your son to get a buzz from opening packs in a few years - far far cheaper and just as much fun if you don't think of trading cards as just potential lottery tickets...
Fanatics/Topps have accomplished putting collectors on the sideline…It’s no longer a hobby. It’s just sports card gambling.
They could add 25 more packs and it would still be a horrible buy. These prices are criminal.
Bottom line, though it wouldn’t be 1000 bucks of people weren’t willing to pay for it

Just buy a bunch of Pro Debut. Lol
Totally agree.
Fully agree man absolute waste.
Lmao
Pure insanity at these prices.
It’s so funny when breakers try to talk up the refractors in a set like this. If I had the money to blow on this, I still don’t think I would.
Sports cards are just a new form of gambling. $1000 for this garbage.
I stopped buying boxes in 2018 because of what you see here. 😂
1K for 50 bucks worth of cards. Hard pass
Literally one card recently sold for $250. You must have stopped watching the video
@@bChaps13235still not worth 1k just to get back $250 bud
@@CincinnatiCrew502 never said it was. If you read my comment, i said $250 is more than $50 bud
Congratulations, Fanatics, you just lost a lifelong customer as the price has me on the outside. I use to love putting home made sets together, sad.

$1000 for 600 cards and over half are paper. Going to be cheaper to buy what you want then chasing.
If half of them were paper it would still be much better than this. This is like 500/600 paper cards
Who would buy this?? 😂😂
It’s now a rich man’s hobby. The only winners are the manufacturers & dealers. The average Joe can’t afford this anymore.. such a shame! 👎👎
The cards that look like parking tags are 'In Action' and theyre made to look like action figures. Like the old Starting Lineups or MacFarland figures.
If you tell yourself you buy these for fun/enjoyment, please get some help.
Brutal. Maybe worst release in the decade!
You could've convinced me that this was just the base run of Bowman Draft with how underwhelming it is.
Ouch. 1k for that. The boxes will come down fast.
Each of these boxes should come with two pearl packs as well. And each pack should have 2 autos.
Thank You.. I needed a good laugh tonight.
Next year they will offer this with the new pre CT scan boxs with more and more expensive hit tier levels.
The Rainier auto may have saved this box, but I bet the majority of these boxes will get people slaughtered.
$1000 for a box. There could be anything in those packs! Even a cars worth $1000!
Jealous of that Rainer, what a pull!
Pro Debut on steroids. Except those steroids didn’t yield the results that were expected.
The other day my lcs sold me a 2020 draft super jumbo for $500. And I pulled a max meyer 1st auto who’s a 3rd overall pick. Too bad for his injuries. Could’ve been a big card
Love that Brice Rainer autograph
So glad they saved Vance Honeycutt for 2025 Bowman, I can't afford this nonsense.
2025 will be the same or more.

That Beam is a nice auto he was on the UT championship team.
Just but the singles you want at this ridiculous price!! You could just buy 3 huge cards for that 😅
Last pack 🔥🥳🧨🎉
So done with the hobby. just buy the singles i want and pass on this overpriced overprinted crap.

This
Just wait a couple and buy some singles.
Let it Sho will be a gamble.
Why didn’t they just sell them for $58 would been better than 1k I wouldn’t even buy it
Seaver King shouldn't be in the top 50.
Bryce Rainer is a teen. All he did was he got 34 hits and he pitched. I was better in high school. I wish they handed out contracts like candy when I was a kid. Konnor Griffin is the same deal.

Nice Pull!
You got taken for a ride buddy
My wife found some 2024 topps holiday at the local target here in Massachusetts. I always thought holiday was a Walmart only product??
I hope this product rots on the shelves. $1,000 is laughable.😂
HORRIBLE BUY!!
