Hi there, I would like to join this fun camp next year. How can I contact you or is there any possible way to join this incredible summer camp? I'm not from America. Thanks 😊
I’m going this year and I’m so excited but I’m such a homebody so I relate to this so much 😭 I’m going to be sobbing when I leave. I’m also a very social awkward person so it’s going to be a lot but I’m so so so excited ‼️‼️
I just searched Camp America Vlogs and yours was the first one to come up then I read your hoodie and was like what is the University of Salford which is the uni I go to, so so random but I just found it amusing because I am going to camp and also barely see Salford uni in any videos
I absolutely love seeing this! I’m going to camp to as a councelor/specialist in the drama department and am super hyped!! Thanks for sharing your adventure🥰
did you travel alone or did u have some travel buddies with you? i want to go next year but im kinda scared to go alone since ive never travelled alone
I went a mix of solo and with people but mainly solo, sometimes it was scary but I managed and I think it was the best thing I ever did because I grew so much as a person! It pushes your boundaries and it’s the most insane experience I would 100% recommend
so I have been offered a place at a camp however I'm not sure about the camp would you reccomend getting in touch with other camps to view your camp america profile?
i have a question, it says it’s a jewish camp would that mean i’d have to be jewish/support the religion because i love this camp and not many i’ve seen have performing arts sectors but i’m not religious
Depends on the camp but for the majority absolutely not! I was really nervous about this too, it was my biggest hold up about choosing Pinemere actually because I’m so un-religious and I knew nothing about the Jewish faith but going to a Jewish camp was amazing. I learnt so much about a different culture in a way I’d never have been able to and I also grew to appreciate the meaning of religion overall and how it can help people. I’d say go for it!
i know you were asking her but i’ll answer from my experience. i worked at a pretty similar camp, and a lot of the staff was from america. (im from spain). also yes, the people i trained with with worked at the same place as me. at the end of the day that’s just my experience maybe she’ll see your comment now that I’ve replied.
I honestly wore the same white t shirt and beige shorts for like 9 weeks straight lmao but some people go full out with their outfits. I would say it’s usually pretty casual with people in shorts or skirts and a t shirt or a vest top!
Camp food was amazing for GF I knew it would be safe all the time and I was happy about it all, eating off camp I actually found so difficult, everything in America is so pricey and I felt like there were no options for me but I managed to get by. I defo found myself eating either lots of fries or lots of fruit so not the healthiest of diets but 🤷🏼♀️
Your dad is such a vibe “it’s costing me a fortune to get rid of my eldest daughter” 😂
Honestly don’t encourage him 😤 the man’s ego will grow! 🤣
this is so awesome to see people experience because i’m a camp counselor who’s grown up at camp and it’s so fun that everyone gets to experience it
One of the old timers!! Luckyyyy

Hello
I have a question what Camp were you in?
I went to Pinemere Camp!
I’m going to do camp America in 4 years when I will be old enough, I’m from Australia btw
how old do u have to be
18 for most camps, sometimes slightly older
were any of the staff from america? or were you all there with camp america :)
and did you stay at the same camp you trained at with all the same people?
i know you were asking her but i’ll answer from my experience. i worked at a pretty similar camp, and a lot of the staff was from america. (im from spain). also yes, the people i trained with with worked at the same place as me.

Yeah it’s a lot of Americans who’ve grown up at that camp and then half international. We train at the camp you stay and work at!
were there any aussies there?
Absolutely, we are quite a small camp in terms of staff so there were only 4 but i loved all the Aussies they were sm fun to work with
hi!! were there any 18 year old campers?
i think ages are max 16 years old
No, campers are all under 18 and then counsellors are all 18+
Not me seeing the Lando hat Sam is wearing in the video
what did you wear for shabbat?
also re you gluten free? how did you feel eating at camp/ on days off
I honestly wore the same white t shirt and beige shorts for like 9 weeks straight lmao but some people go full out with their outfits. I would say it’s usually pretty casual with people in shorts or skirts and a t shirt or a vest top!
