I was gifted a Pocketboy 170 Outback with 10 TPI. This saw I use multiple times every day. My only exposure to Silky is with this saw and I no longer use any other hand saw.
I use it for green branches from 1cm to 5cm.
I like Japan and Japanese made products too so I look forward to buying a Zubat pole saw and hand saw.

Brilliant! That one is sitting on our demo table at the moment. Don't forget you can buy the blade with the larger or smaller tooth down the track if you change your requirements. 😃 Nita

Very informative vid for the awsome Pocket Boy!
Such an underated saw for its diminutive size.
Defo getting the red 130 and a seperate curved blade.
So easy on folders to tension the screws with just a penny!
Also a lesser known fact for the second setting is revealed
in this vid, great for carpentry too!

😂 Proceed with caution! You'll end up with a showroom like us if you not careful........but its true what they say, they are 'the gift that keeps giving' 😊 Nita and Shenae.

thanks for the video. I've been searching for a demo of fine and extra fine tooth configuration.
Just to make sure, you said you could use the shorter blade in the 170? If so that would be perfect for me. I already own the 170 large tooth, but need a bone blade as well.
Just a thought. The blades on the pocketboy are really thin and might not be ideal for a beginner. I would suggest the gomboy 240 for someone new to pull saws. I own a 240 as well and the blade is noticeably thicker. just my opinion.
informative and entertaining video as always. Cheers.

HI Dirk, yes you are correct. You can put the 130 blade into the 170 handle, but not the other way around. Great advice about starting with the Gomboy if you are a beginner, we are actually going to do a little video about that in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the idea!
