  • Have you come across the idea of allopathic herbalism? This approach often highlights specific symptoms and conditions that certain herbs are “good for.” However, it has a limitation: it doesn't address the root causes of diseases.
To achieve profound healing, it's crucial to go beyond simply matching herbs with symptoms. Embracing the traditional vitalist herbalism philosophy lets you explore the underlying energies beneath disease symptoms. This empowers you to choose herbs confidently, ensuring they consistently bring about lasting and effective healing results.
    In today’s video you’ll learn:
-Ways to avoid the trap of allopathic herbalism
-How to heal by working with your body instead of against it
-Why you shouldn’t ignore symptoms and what they're trying to tell you
-How to deepen your connection with nature and uncover the meaning behind herbs, changing seasons, and the weather

    ABOUT EVOLUTIONARY HERBALISM
    ------------
Evolutionary Herbalism is built upon holistic philosophies of herbalism and nature from across the world. From Ayurveda and alchemy, to clinical herbalism, medical astrology and modern science, this approach seeks to unite traditional models of plant medicine into a cohesive clinical practice. This holistic model of herbalism honors the whole plant and the whole person, and seeks to utilize medicinal plants in a way that equally addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual sides of healing.
    ------------
    ABOUT SAJAH
    ------------
Sajah Popham is the author of Evolutionary Herbalism and the founder of the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, where he trains herbalists in a holistic system of plant medicine that encompasses clinical Western herbalism, medical astrology, Ayurveda, and spagyric alchemy.
His mission is to develop a comprehensive approach that balances the science and spirituality of plant medicine, focusing on using plants to heal and rejuvenate the body, clarify the mind, open the heart, and support the development of the soul. This is only achieved through understanding and working with the chemical, energetic, and spiritual properties of the plants. His teachings embody a heartfelt respect, honor and reverence for the vast intelligence of plants in a way that empowers us to look deeper into the nature of our medicines and ourselves.

Delighted to come across you again...thank you. Always good to be open minded to expanding our awareness to different perspectives..not being to 'set' in our approaches. Have always felt..in various aspects of medicine..that sometimes we are just treating the Symptoms & not going beyond to the Underlying causes, whether physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual..etc. 🤔

THANK YOU. I have literally been there and done that with fevers and accidentally made them last far longer than necessary. I recently have had some success treating a nagging cough (one that the person has had for months in the aftermath of a flu) with a mix of elecampane and wild lettuce made into a cough syrup. This is in someone with a cool, phlegmatic overall nature. The fire of the elecampane zaps the cough with lightning and the wild lettuce rushes in to cool it for lack of a better ability to explain. Antibiotics did absolutely nothing, of course, and that is what allopathic doctors prescribed.

Love this. Just because it's a plant doesn't make it safe. Give an herb for this can end up with a serious damage to that. Get to know the person on an individual level. Yes!!!

I learned that wind wreaks havoc on my system. Omg it's horrible and draining. Scatters energy and depletes it too. Being grounded in wind cold north is exhausting and taxing to the max. Especially when ya walk everywhere!!!!

As vitalists I'm surprised that you're not proponents of the Terrain theory instead of the germ theory ?
