- Ricko gives us an update on the 165" Ski-Doo track and new drivers on a 162 Arctic Cat Mountain cat. People have been vocal about the Power Claw vs. Ski-Doo track so here's a little explainer of why the bigger drivers make sense and how the attack angle of the track has changed for the better.

Nice video brother love it
Hey Rick how about a tutorial video on how to trim the half inch off each side of the Doo track cleanly.
,,,great review...dooooooooooood, can't wait for snow here,n.wisconsin,=3" .😯....our toys have come a long way since we were kids!!!!!...wow...great footage......pat,land o 'lakes,wi.
My 17’ summit x has no missing lugs or anything. 2200km on her now
Flat land is real easy on tracks! Being proud of what your saying is like.. you still got all lugs with 2200 km ,is like saying I ride like my kid...
My 174 is missing 5 and I’ve got 1400km. Just depends on where/how you ride, conditions, speed etc. Modern lightweight tracks aren’t meant to last. It would be nice if they did cause a replacement for mine is like 2k...
I have a 1993 Thundercat and just recently seen something where they had issues with tracks on them. What would be a good track mod for a sled like mine?
ripsaw , 1.5' lug
@@DIGIT9 I will look into it. Thank you. If I go that route hopefully it's not too difficult. I'm a maintenance mechanic by trade so I can wrench on stuff. I used to own a fox body mustang that I daily drove and took to the drag strip on the weekends. Love your videos. I'm trying to get more on my channel of my Thundercat because I love the older sleds.
Do you have a link for the 3.5 sprocket?

I like this I think they should ditch the power claw, go to a paddle like the doo has.
Did you buy a new truck
Yes , a 2020 F 350 DRW
On the real though could i in theory put 162 or maybe 165 rails on my 153? Instead of choppin shit? I cant afford to do it but just something thats been on my mind too haha
Absolutely !!
3 inch tracks are for powder not on the trail. If u want the best track get the power claw 2.6. Doo tracks are terrible
I've seen way more cat tracks give issue's than doo, but atleast BRP makes one good thing
@@mikehd3904 yeah... a great warranty program.
