I did it on veteran but with ultimate Zangetsu, it would be a pain in the balls do it normal, maybe not because of the boss but because you have to complete the castle each time if you do a game over.
Godzilla And the zero G plus all the fireballs and crap make the moon palace a nuisance to do. Also facing Sariel is one thing, dealing with the demon rabbits is another.
I did it in Casual as well. I wouldn't replay all the castle again... too much work. The person in the video also did it in Casual, since he takes little damage from the boss and there is no way you can enter this level with 40 weapon points. I believe the max you can have in Veteran is 25.
Diovani Bressan I know there are people that can do all of this game’s bosses hitless on Veteran Mode, and I’m gonna be real, Curse 1 seemed more geared towards getting newcomers familiar with these types of games regardless of whether you played on Veteran or Casual. I cleared everything in Curse 1, except the solo Zangetsu run, on Veteran. I cleared episode 1 and half of 2 on this game. Once the mummy boss came along, that was the end of my Veteran Mode for Episode 2 and onward. I feel Veteran mode for this game, at least for the later episodes is more meant for those who are more than familiar with Castlevania’s relentless difficulty and have the skills needed to deal with it. Also the fact that Dominique is the character you lose (temporarily) for story reasons makes it much harder because you don’t have her healing or reviving spells to rely on. In Curse 1, losing Zangetsu was no big deal because he was kind of the weakest character gameplay wise of the roster, and losing the attack buff from the Soul Eraser partway through Episode 2 does not help. Long story short there is more stacked against you in this game than there was in Curse 1
@@AzureMoebius22 I did Episodes 1, 2, Ex and the final episode in Veteran. For Casual, I did Final Episode Zangetsu only and I am playing Dominique Solo now. Once you learn the patters, the bosses are not that bad. Yes, the mummy one can be annoying, but Hachi is the one that helps in that battle. In EX and Final Chapter, Alfred with his Fire Barrier makes that battle a joke. But i agree that Curse of the Moon 2 is harder than the first one.

Honestly, this was a pretty epic ending. Which is sad, since I'm sure 90% of the people who play the game will never see it. As much as I love the game, I'm not a big fan of so many bosses/endings being hidden behind entire replays. New characters are nice, but found myself getting bored constantly playing through same stages and just wanted to get to the eventual new content.
I don't think Zangetsu was thinking clearly here. Destroying the moon? Not a good idea. Wouldn't that have serious repercussions? Like the sea tides man!
Ah, i was wondering how to do this ending. So just start off with Ultimate Zangetsu, and start off in Final Episode on that one stage that has an empty character icon right? I get it now. Just have to get 1 part thats why. I was wondering how to do this too lol.

@@ssjethan2670 I'm pretty sure the only requirement for this ending is if any version of Zangetsu of your picking launches to the moon alone with no companions (You have to clear a stage where no companion is at for the material needed to launch the ship), but Ultimate Version Zangetsu is HIGHLY recommended because of the shortcuts he can reach with his dash + double jump (works great for dodging too) and lack of power ups (you'll likely miss out on increased armor and damage increase depending on which stage gebel is tied to)
