I feel it happens more on bigger planes like the 787, because it would to have a flight attendant every in every aisle and having everyone able to see. As they have flight attendants, but not enough to demonstrate to everyone.

Thats great for your dad, gain as much flight hours as you can with the 787. The 787 will be a hit in the long run. Composite material long range twin engine planes are the future, the A380 and big multi engine passenger planes belong in the history books.

I booked the ticket of air canada （AC029）from Vancover to Beiijng China. The air canada cancled the flight, however, they do not refund. What is the difference to a cheater!? Want to fly with Air Canada? Please reconsider.
If by the old safety video, you mean the one with the boy at the beginning, that one was made in an A320. The new one is displayed in A320 ACs now, but the new one is made in a Boeing 787(800). I like both of the safety videos.

It's for all aircraft, not just the 787. My A320 flight had it.
