Hi J. I enjoyed the whole series mate. You did a great job at presenting and editing the whole thing. I'm amazed you don't get many more views as your contents is right up there. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to the next one 👍
Thanks a lot Nick for both feedback and support. Comments like this one are real source of motivation to keep going! Views and sub will come! More to come soon.. stay tuned!
Have been there several times with my motorcycle, first time in like 1978, what a LOVELY place to ride your bike :-) Thanks for reminding me :-) STILL in Love with Corsica....
Thanks for this great video. We loved the Sardinia and the Corsica videos. This summer we are planning to go to one of these islands but it looks like a difficult choice.
Glad you enjoyed Dirk! Yes both island are amazing, I would recommend to do them both…in two different summers so you have enough time to ride around. Feel free to ask any questions while planning.
Incredibile! E si, fuoristrada tutta la vita 😍
What month were you in Corsica? And is it far from the parking lot to the beach such as Santa Gulia or Pallombaggia. Very nice report, we are going to Porto Vecchio at the end of June and I hope there won't be a lot of people on the beaches.
Yeah great video mate. I’m travelling Europe from the 1st June 2022 starting from Santander for 5 weeks and will divert for a week to Corsica. What prices are the camp sites approx if you have your own tent? Thanks from the Isle of Man 🇮🇲😀
Thanks for the feedback man. Campings are not that expensive, prices depend on the size of you rent and how many people you are. I would say roughly between 20euros and 40?
@@JRidesTheWorld Ah thanks for the reply 😀 - I’ll be camping on my own with my own tent. Just wanted to know how much to roughly estimate for the camping side 🎉😀
Hi J, I’m thinking of doing Corsica on my motorcycle ferry from nice to Corsica then Corsica to Italy. How many days is perfect for covering corsica ? My trip I have 16 days tour from uk through France, Corsica, Italy Lucca to see a good mate, then up to lake Como and up into Switzerland through black Forrest then back to U.K. Just wondered what the ideal days would be on Corsica so I can factor in and book my ferry’s Cheers Nick
Hello! Mmm.. those a quite a lot of places to visit in 16days! Where do you take the ferry from Corsica to Italy? Bastia? And where do you arrive in Italy? Livorno? Must see in Corsica are both North and west coast! 5 to 6 days are enough. But I know riders who did it in 3 also🙌.
Great series, I'm planning to take the camper van to Corsica at the end of August and you have given me some must see ideas. We have 8 nights on the island, some of the beaches you visited are clearly not accessible in a van so what would you recommend as things we MUST see and do. Cheers
Hello 👋 thanks for your kind words. The island is not that big, but the roads (especially on the west coast) make it a slower drive. Being August a pretty busy period, I would recommend to spend more time on the west coast: Lile rousse, Calvi, calanques de Piana. Then go south to Bonifacio, and the last couple of days on the east coast. West coast tent do be more windy as it’s quite exposed, while east coast is more protected. Hope it helps, but let me know if you have more questions.
We arrive at Ajaccio and my plan was to head south and head around the island anti clockwise with a must see stop at the gorges de restonica. We arrive very late august and most of the trip is September so hopefully it’s slightly quieter.
i have questions... did u book the stay right in front, or just stumbled in? and the other question: why is your bike registrated to salzburg/austria? are you living in austria like i do?
@@JRidesTheWorld tnx 4 answer. What i ment was if you booked the hotels days before you arrived (planned tour so to speak) or just walked in and asked if there r rooms available. Im living close to Salzburg - very nice!
@@notofinterest no problem at all! Corsica is amazing, even more than Sardinia. Just a bit more expensive, avoid July and August if you can. You will love it 🙌

Well done, enjoyed all the episodes and taken lots of notes. I’m planning on travelling to Corsica from Wales soon.
Glad you liked mate! Corsica is so amazing, I want to go back for some off-road trails 🙌

I went in July. Usuallly both parking spot are pretty quite and close to the beaches ( Santa Giulia And Paolombaggia)

@@reviestand makes sense! Are you leavening the island from Ajaccio? If so, 100% drive through the calancaques of Piana! That road is insane!
