Let's point out that as indigo(between blue and violet), the darkleer really was an in-between: arresting the suffurer but also putting him out of his misery, and if I remember well being cast out to nothing by the tyrant...

Darkleer E%ecutioner was trapped in a position where he was helpless, just like Equius when he died.

And the morse distress signal hidden in the song also makes sense because Dirk and Roxy live in a post-apocalyptic world. The song from "Colours and Mayhem" written for Serenity and repurposed for a troll is "Cobalt Thief".
Quick Summary (all there's characters for anyway): Indigo Archer and Purple Tyrant were ripped from the game "Frozen Synapse." Fans of that game realized immediately and the songs were taken down. It happened minutes after the album was released, so original artist from Frozen Synapse said "no hard feelings" and the charlatan was made a pariah (Righteously imho). Indigo Archer was "Switch" and Purple Tyrant was "A Functioning God" from Frozen Synapse OST, if you liked them/wanted to hear.

I’ve never heard music quite like this, with the melancholy build up and what sounds like a vengeful violin, all accompanied by the percussion of pioneered engineering. On top of that, I’m not quite sure if it’s an instrument or vocals, but the moaning sounds that start at 1:18 are amazing, like echoes from a vast void.
This is one of my favorite underrated tracks off that album, I'm glad you still have it up (and can use it to draw attention to the belligerent treatment the official team is directing towards fans)

horuss is a pretty cool dude. he's skilled in many ways, he's probably the only page that is anywhere near fully realized and exhibiting true potential in homestuck, as all his self taught skills and qualities are from hard work and dedication, which is how pages grow. sadly even though hes very capable and interesting he goes unnoticed because of his irrelevance in the overall narrative of skaia. thats the void aspect for ya
