These lights are awesome. The one thing I would caution about is using the right type of silicone with electrical wiring. Loctite SI 5990 is a non-corrosive silicone that can be used with electrical wiring. Non-corrosive silicone is what you want other silicone can corrode copper and other metals.

Good thing you paid attention to polarization. LEDs only work one way.

The wire section of the cord with the ribbed texture is usually neutral for Alternating Current and negative for Direct Current - LEDs are normally powered with + or Positive to their - or Negative side. Since they work off of DC Voltage you must mark the Positive and Negative wires - if they do not come on just reverse the wires to your supply source.

I made one,but believe me they fail after a while. These are not completely sealed in salt water.

Salt water might a little harsher on these lights than a lake. How long did it last before it started to fail?
      Thanks for adding your comment.

I gave it to my dad for a Christmas gift. I think he has tried it off the dock once. He did catch a fish but it is hard to say of that was due to the light.

No worries. I am still making videos. I took a little break and may not post as frequent as I did in the past. I’m currently working editing 1-2 videos at the moment. Should be releasing this week or next week. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.
