I really like the price of the Almond Cow Milk Maker. After reading all that it can do, I'm sold! Merry Christmas, Laura! Thanks for the discount, Candace!
Thanks for the recipe. Your make- up is sooo beautiful, the way it highlight your eyes. Very good job styling the video, the dress has an elf vibe. Perfect!!
I’ve had my Almond Cow 6 months and really love it! Soooo much faster and easier than squeezing the milk thru a nut bag. Thanks for sharing this recipe! P.S. your hair looks really pretty and I love your velvet green blouse!
loveeee this! i dont necessarily waste alot with my plant milk intake BUT overall i am trying to waste less and a plant milk maker sounds amazing!! i have started making my own ramen broth, chili oil, etc. and now hopefully my own plant based milk
helll yeah i LOVE Almond Cow!! I worked a booth with them a few years ago in ATL and it was so fun to just make all these delicious combos. One of my favorites was a pumpkin seed, almond, and cardamom ^^
A pre wedding happy hour I attended last month had the best goodies, not all vegan, but did have fresh figs! First time I'd had them. They were the best, and went well with all the veggies, fruits, cheeses, crackers. & sliced meats.
You always look amazing but holy ALMOND COW you really look WONDERFUL here. Keep up the good work babe. Vegan hugs to all. Peace and plants from Canada.❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Hi Candace, can you come up with a really tasty vegan pork chop recipe? When I was a meat eater, pork chops were my all time favorite meat. I absolutely love your recipes. Lol still can't find the bean curds in my area. Oh well, I'll have to use rice paper for your chicken instead!!!❤️❤️
Have you tried an Asian market? I've found bean curd sheets at TNT and other Asian markets semi locally. I have to drive about 25min to the closest one.
I cannot wait to try this. I Cannot make cashew milk and have leftover pulp because I use my Vitamix for this and the machine just pulverizers everything thing, but yesterday I made almond milk and I do have almond pul left. So I’m going to add the almond milk pulp to 1 cup of cashews and try that. I can’t see why it wouldn’t work. I can’t wait I’m going to do this tomorrow as it’s late now and dark. I don’t like cooking in the dark LOL anyhow thanks for all the fabulous ideas, recipes and all the work that you do for us. Merry Christmas Candace 😊
Gow is the COW working now a year later ?? Do you still love it or is it working well... just in the market for a milk maker. Thanks. And the cheese looks Bomb !!)
This is so clever and I cannot wait to try this. I have a way to make nut milk with my juicer, but the almond cow looks like it’s easier to clean, so I have to put the almond cow on my wishlist. BTW, you hair and makeup looks amazing.
I purchased the Almond Cow and was very disappointed. The milk made with the Vitamix was much thicker, smoother and creamier and you also get pulp with the Vitamix. The return policy is not the greatest. Only the actual machine is returnable and you have to pay for the return shipping. I believe it cost me around $25 but have had heard of others having to spend a bit more.
Thanks for sharing your experience with it. I was wondering the same when I saw there was just one button to push. I have a vitamix and soymilk maker (not almond cow) because soy beans LOVE to boil over the second you look away. 😂 It has a few settings for different beans and grains with some oatmeal porage and soup settings. Personally, I bought it for soymilk because like you, I feel like my vitamix does everything else the milk maker claims is unique to it.
I mostly have been making oat coconut milk with my Almond cow because the oats and coconut are a lot cheaper than the cashews or Almonds, I did recently get some Almonds with food stamps and have made some milk with it. Do you think I could do something similar with the Almond pulp? I make milk for 3 people, 2 of who drinks so much milk I have to make two of those jugs every few days. I barely get any of the milk myself
Do have any suggestions for making it a little more on the savory side for someone who doesn't like cranberries? Edit: in savory things I like cranberries but I don't like them in savory things
I like my almond cow, but haven’t used it in awhile. I do wish it had a heating option to make soy milk. But i liked it in the beginning. I didn’t see it saving me time or waste or anything, but I prob didn’t use it enough to see a difference. I found it easier to use my blender tbh. But this idea for the pulp is way better use than what I’ve seen. Perhaps I’ll try to use it again…
I make soy milk in my almond cow all the time, I just heat it on the stove after. And then I dehydrate my pulp in the oven to make soy flour for muffins and pancakes
Instant mashed potatoes makes an excellent cheese. Just ads nutritional yeast flakes and yogurt. And whatever seasonings you like... Salt Garlic Pepper Onion powder If you are just not sure Hidden Valley ranch packet is delsh.. or even a liston onion soup mix. 😋👍
I've been making almond milk with a Vitamix and nut bag for a long time. This gadget looks amazing. Maybe Santa will bring me one.:-) In any case, I'm going to give this cheese a try!
Unfortunately they aren’t really affordable. I’ve looked into them and I’d love to get one for our family but they aren’t affordable for low income families and can’t be found second hand.
Absolutely true. My family aunts, uncles, and parents chipped in and it was my 1 Christmas gift a couple years ago. It's definitely not affordable just to buy, even with the promise that it will save you money after a year of regularly using it. Not everyone has that money upfront. And you still have to buy the nuts, which are expensive. Buying bulk is the best bang for your buck but it's another high upfront expense.
Ms Bad A*s B*tch just watched your video about your divorce and all the changes and I am SO PROUD OF YOU AND HAPPY FOR YOU. You have fully come into the title “Edgy” Veg and I am here for it!
omg this might be the best use for the pulp!!! I'm so happy i have an almond cow now!!!!
I hope you love it!
I’ve had my almond cow for 2 years now and it’s great to never run out of “milk” as long as you have some kind of nut, oats or seeds on hand
so glad to hear that!

YES PLEASE. MORE CHEESE. the ladies in my family always have wine with cheese boards for holidays. I been felt a little left out last year.
Now you can join in!
Now you can join in!
I hope this helps!!

Thank you!
For people who do still get containers from food they can recycle them and turn them into planters for herbs and other foods to help cut the waste.
This cheese looks delicious and that charcuterie board looks absolutely amazing ❤
thanks!
Yes except that there is no charcuterie, thank God!
SO YUM 🤤 Please make more recipes using the almond cow! I have that machine and I adore it 🐮💙
Me too
Hoping I can purchase in Scotland!

I got your vitamin pack. Loving it! Everything is super tasty. I always worry about calcium so I really appreciate that it is included.
Great to hear!

A charcuterie board! I'd almost forgotten those.. But it looks good indeed!
bring it back for the holidays!

@@sshane1986 I live in a very small community. There are no asian markets near me at all. LOL the nearest Walmart is 45 miles away.
@@carolynmilheron2301 that sucks! Rice paper might be your only option then! Lol
I have never wanted an almond cow until now! Wow!!
I hope you get one and enjoy it!!
Omg I love your hair!!
It really does look amazing. I will have to try it. :)
Is there a chance you could show us a recipe for the herb or garlic cheese ball?

thanks!

Thank you!!
Idk if you have/made a video of making brie, but if you haven't that's also another idea.
I recently got the vitamins and they are amazing!
thank you!!

@@RP-uu7oq Are you soaking your nuts? Also have you tried either running it in the collector cup to make creamier milk?
Do you have to use the pulp in order to make this cheese ball?? Your my favorite I love your recipes !
you can substitute for more whole raw cashews!
So cool! how would I make this without the pulp? Would almond butter work?
Soak and blend nuts in a food processor
you can swap the pulp for more raw whole cashews
@@EdgyVeg thanks!

yes! It should work great, as long as you are using raw almonds, not roasted
Looks so good!!!!!
Thank you 😋
Candace your hair and make up looks 10/10!
thank you!
Ok. Now I know what I want for Christmas!
I hope you love it!
Looks fabulous thanks 😊
Thank you! 😊
The cows thank you!!! And so do I lol
thanks!
Thank you! I'm going try this tomorrow I've been waiting for an oil free vegan cheeseball!!!!
Question: should we be soaking the cashews?
if you don't have a high speed blender, I'd soak them. But with tools like vitamix or almond cow you don't have to soak
that's an intriguing machine :)
Looks so good!!😋
thanks!
dont see ALMOND COW link. I'd like to get it from her and get a discount?
Do have any suggestions for making it a little more on the savory side for someone who doesn't like cranberries?
Edit: in savory things I like cranberries but I don't like them in savory things
you could absolutely leave out the cranberries! That will make it less sweet
looks delicious! What are those little pasta donut things?
those are italian crackers called taralli
@@EdgyVeg thank you!
Can you do a Burmese tofu? And different ways to use it? BT cheese 🤔
I love everything about your hair😍
thanks!

How could you adapt this recipe if you don’t have pulp?
Instant mashed potatoes makes an excellent cheese. Just ads nutritional yeast flakes and yogurt. And whatever seasonings you like...

Garlic
Pepper
Onion powder

amazing! Enjoy!
Please do a version NOT cashew based. I love them but recently became allergic.
you could definitely try this with almonds or walnuts!
Your hair reminds me of the girl in star wars who leads Death Watch
thanks! I'll take that as a compliment
Nobody that is trying to scrape by cares about your cashew recipe. I am out within the first minute!
