By itself that's completely useless unless you're hot on a passive mode toggle (not possible if you do CEO work). For that to do anything you'd need to increase the wind up time, which isn't a given to help since you're not typically near orbital protection areas like the LS river bridges or parking garages. All a targeting ray would do is let the player know their death is imminent.
Imagine a large red ray of light coming towards you from the sky above, quickly getting thinner and thinner as it nears you, and once it touches your skin, it becomes blinding to the eyes and then boom. Or have nothing special about it whatever’s easier

Great suggestions and changes to help fix the Orbital Cannon but I think there should be a way that you get notified when someone is in the orbital cannon or something. Maybe not on you but whenever someone is in that screen or in the cannon itself it notifies the whole lobby saying "[Enter player name here] is in the Orbital Cannon" or something like that that way you can take the proper precautions. The OC is really good for taking out RC spammers but sadly it sounds like that won't be the case anymore with the new update changing it and all. I would love to see you make some more videos like this one. Talking about what needs buffed, is perfect or near enough, and what needs nerfed. Would also love to see all your methods you have learned so far to dodge the Orbital too in a good amount of detail 😄👍. W video bro 💙

Best way to make if less annoying, is that you should actually go through some kind of mission to get ammo for the cannon, people would use it a lot less.

My only concern about the suggestion for the cooldown is it could be abusive if multiple people get orbed at once, but that's my opinion. The other suggestions are good. I didnt even know you spawned at the hospital

I'm watching him for a while, so I was surprised that he used the orbital cannon. He also agrees that the orbit cannon is bullshit and the only times he uses it is to exploit the god mode users.
Another way to dodge the orb is if you are in the avenger hold area, MOC trailer and the back of the nerve centre in terrobyte. I think you are safe in the kostaka too im not sure but if they orb MOC,Terrobyte, or avenger they will miss and not be refunded so that 1 orb registers as a hit to the system while they have not got the kill :)
I'd like to see your suggestions for the Seabreeze. I use it pretty often, and don't really feel disadvantaged. Maybe that's bc most GTA players are dogwater pilots though lmao
Seabreeze could use a buff Give it the b11 armor, make it so it can't be disabled when hit by a missile, and give it more speed, way more speed It could become a pretty good defensive oriented plane, but as it is of right now it's not really competitive against good players in freemode And yeah most gta players are dogwater lmao

there is the ETR it is a device which allows thanks to an activity in the casino to remain invisible indefinitely and one cannot be killed by the Orbital Cannon.
@@MetProSOWC it would be a pleasure to show you ETR at the casino I play on Ps5 version ps5 And the advantage we are indefinitely invisible but if the person has the thermal glasses it is one of the downsides all as if we enter the ls custom we are not the No more ETR and if you join a securoserv or a biker club the ETR is deactivated but its main advantage is that you cannot be killed with an orbital cannon since you are not referenced Among the players of the session while we are in the session.

Metal, i think you should do add the barrage rockets in your "needs a buff" video, imo its absurd that the explosive cannon has more damage radius that the current barrage rockets, is literally a worse option that a single, well aimed free-aim missile.
honestly I think the barrage rocket is perfect as it is Its a good thing the blast radius isn't that high, it would be way too powerful against ground targets otherwise imo

I know im very late to the party but fun fact you can make score warriors furious by telling them the orb doesnt count as a real kill as you can go passive immediately after orbing someone unlike every other "kill", they dont like that very much :^)
I think a good thing they could do is make the actual satellite used to orb a physical thing in the world. So you can shoot it down if you know somebody is camping on it

I totally agree with your point, orbital cannon should NOT count as a kill, after all you pay for it, same thing as Merryweather mercenaries, If they kill their victim it does not count for the buyer's score, so the orbital counting as a kill, it makes no sense.

I absolutely agree 100%, especially since a lot of freemode missions involve other players trying to steal from you, like the diamond terrorbyte shopping or the briefcase CEO mission. Even if those players didn't start the mission they are still participing in it thus they should get immunity from the orb while the mission is running

I agree on that, cause that wouldn't really make sense. Your vehicle just got destroyed. You shouldn't automatically respawn in after you get killed by the orbital cannon while in a vehicle cause most people will just be in jets or the mark2, and that would be really unfair. The whole point of destroying a vehicle is that they can't use it for a while after it gets destroyed and not just giving the griefer a free kill and a free vehicle. That would be broken.
Idk. The orbital cannon is the same as god mode. When you use the orbital cannon, you have the ability to kill anyone on the map but you can't get killed in return. Getting obliterated shouldn't even be possible to begin with. Nobody should have the ability to kill you if you can't kill them in return. So you should at least spawn back inside the vehicle you were using at the exact same location you were right before you got orbed. As I said in the video a lot of people do this to prevent you from fighting back. If you have to fight multiple people one will orb you so you'll lose the vehicle you were using. Then the others will jump you at the hospital to wreck you, which is beyond dumb. I don't mind dying and getting my vehicle blown up by actual players, but if you play in god mode, you absolutely don't deserve to blow up my shit. And the orbital cannon is basically god mode

7:46 The only problem with this strategy is that the person in the facility can manually orb you if you hide in some spots where you can't be locked onto like under bridges.
one potential change that could work, so say if a person uses the orbital canon and successfully gets a kill, a 10 minute timer starts for all other Orbital canon facility's in that server. A notification would then say the satellite was recently used by another player and is re-arming, please try again later. The player that used it successfully will be forced to wait a 24 hour cool-down in real life hours until they can use theirs again. If a player misses a shot they have to wait the server timer before they can use theirs again while getting a refund of 85% of the money spent.
i know of another dumb spot where you can dodge the orb under water. you know that spot near the beach that has that weird structure that has an opened hatch door? well you can't get orbed there.
In reference to that last image in the video, I wouldn't want the Molotok to get buffed. It's a poggers plane, visually, but if it performs competently, then that'll completely eliminate the humiliation factor when you absolutely destroy someone in a different plane. ¬w¬

Make the Seabreeze as durable as the b11, make it so it's not possible to disable it if you get hit by a rocket and give it more speed, that's how I would buff it It would be a great defensive oriented plane like this Chernobog is fine as it is I think, if used properly you can catch jets off guard with it. It could use a bit more armor though And yeah I will prob make a video in the future where I talk about things that need to be nerfed or buffed

There is a 45 minutes cooldown on the orbital cannon, basically you cant shoot again the orbital cannon to anyone in the lobby for 45 minutes. Also there was a time when the orbital cannon was nerf basically you cant used again if you miss the target on manual or automatic aim and you lost 500k or 750k

Love to be under the construction site, a very old place to get in side the construction site which tons of player still dosent know how to get inside or how to kill me etc. Pretty sure you know where this specific place is located, its not a glitchs or so which many other player think since you get more protection from getting ghost sniped as well. Every time i play i have always notis someone inside their facility, and they always try to orb, if the fail they always inv their friend to help them out, and they go passive since they have hard time to see me, and most of the time they can barley even hit one shoot.
It should be a 4h-8h timer if you get a kill with the orb, and like you mention that you get immun against other orbs, which would be very helpful, its gets extremely boring to get orb spammed by "scores player" Miss the old days when player actually had good ground game, fights then was more fun, today is just boring.

not that long ago the behind the scenes making of halo 2 was trending and watching it made me so sad because gone are the days of people who enjoy playing games, designing them. you could see the passion in these guys and how they wanted to get everything perfect to the best of their abilility. we deal with the stupidest problems today in video games nowadays, all of gta onlines major problems are simple fixes but rockstar is either too lazy or incompetent to take action. cant find 100 milliion kd duped accounts, cant patch things that arent a money or outfit glitch for years, cant make any quality of life changes for 5-10 years, cant be bothered to recieve evidence of people using game bug exploits to grief and do enforcement action.

Metal, i think you should do add the barrage rockets in your "needs a buff" video, imo its absurd that the explosive cannon has more damage radius that the current barrage rockets, is literally a worse option that a single, well aimed free-aim missile.

It just annoys me that the explosion sprite is larger than the damage radius, I dont think it needs a insane buff, just making it match would me sensible (4 meters instead of the 3 it currently has), since the visual feedback it gives is missleading
I know im very late to the party but fun fact you can make score warriors furious by telling them the orb doesnt count as a real kill as you can go passive immediately after orbing someone unlike every other "kill", they dont like that very much :^)
I think a good thing they could do is make the actual satellite used to orb a physical thing in the world. So you can shoot it down if you know somebody is camping on it

I totally agree with your point, orbital cannon should NOT count as a kill, after all you pay for it, same thing as Merryweather mercenaries, If they kill their victim it does not count for the buyer's score, so the orbital counting as a kill, it makes no sense.

Most of this I find agreeable but I disagree on the respawning in your vehicle afterwards. Like when jet spammers do nothing but passive and get in jet, it can force them on the ground instead of staying in the air
I agree on that, cause that wouldn't really make sense. Your vehicle just got destroyed. You shouldn't automatically respawn in after you get killed by the orbital cannon while in a vehicle cause most people will just be in jets or the mark2, and that would be really unfair. The whole point of destroying a vehicle is that they can't use it for a while after it gets destroyed and not just giving the griefer a free kill and a free vehicle. That would be broken.
Idk. The orbital cannon is the same as god mode. When you use the orbital cannon, you have the ability to kill anyone on the map but you can't get killed in return.
Getting obliterated shouldn't even be possible to begin with. Nobody should have the ability to kill you if you can't kill them in return. So you should at least spawn back inside the vehicle you were using at the exact same location you were right before you got orbed.
As I said in the video a lot of people do this to prevent you from fighting back. If you have to fight multiple people one will orb you so you'll lose the vehicle you were using. Then the others will jump you at the hospital to wreck you, which is beyond dumb.
I don't mind dying and getting my vehicle blown up by actual players, but if you play in god mode, you absolutely don't deserve to blow up my shit. And the orbital cannon is basically god mode

7:46 The only problem with this strategy is that the person in the facility can manually orb you if you hide in some spots where you can't be locked onto like under bridges.
hiding under a bridge isn't a safe place,I prefer sewer if there's no other way then bridge would be my last choice.

one potential change that could work, so say if a person uses the orbital canon and successfully gets a kill, a 10 minute timer starts for all other Orbital canon facility's in that server. A notification would then say the satellite was recently used by another player and is re-arming, please try again later. The player that used it successfully will be forced to wait a 24 hour cool-down in real life hours until they can use theirs again. If a player misses a shot they have to wait the server timer before they can use theirs again while getting a refund of 85% of the money spent.
Oh yeah, a cooldown on the server instead of the victim would def work too. That's a pretty good idea
i know of another dumb spot where you can dodge the orb under water. you know that spot near the beach that has that weird structure that has an opened hatch door? well you can't get orbed there.

Chernobog is fine as it is I think, if used properly you can catch jets off guard with it. It could use a bit more armor though

Chernobogs armor needs a buff,but the locking on mechanism in this thing need a complete overhaul. That thing lock on to ANYTHING but the one you want,including parked up NPC cars. I would love to see more of these videos👍👌

There is a 45 minutes cooldown on the orbital cannon, basically you cant shoot again the orbital cannon to anyone in the lobby for 45 minutes. Also there was a time when the orbital cannon was nerf basically you cant used again if you miss the target on manual or automatic aim and you lost 500k or 750k

Love to be under the construction site, a very old place to get in side the construction site which tons of player still dosent know how to get inside or how to kill me etc.
Pretty sure you know where this specific place is located, its not a glitchs or so which many other player think since you get more protection from getting ghost sniped as well.
Every time i play i have always notis someone inside their facility, and they always try to orb, if the fail they always inv their friend to help them out, and they go passive since they have hard time to see me, and most of the time they can barley even hit one shoot.
It should be a 4h-8h timer if you get a kill with the orb, and like you mention that you get immun against other orbs, which would be very helpful, its gets extremely boring to get orb spammed by "scores player"
