    Cheese grater? Looks more like a wool carding device

    • @nevillewran4083
      @nevillewran4083 17 дней назад +2

      Not a cheese grater. I agree, something related to fabric, wool, yarn, etc.

    • @PeachysMom
      @PeachysMom 13 дней назад

      Right, it would be at most a “cheese piercer,” since there is no grating surface

    The personal sauna was actually used as a weight loss device at spas and diet clinics.

    The item described as a toilet float, I believe is actually a fire extinguisher grenade missing the fluids.

    At 9:38... a civil war collectible. It's probably a cartridge box plate, if not a buckle. An excellent find.

    Just returned from two weeks in Greece. We asked abt those little church-type things near driveways along the road. They’re typically for remembering and honoring a loved one who has passed on.

    7:48 described as going inside a whisk. That may be so, however, I have several identical looking items in my home. They are cat toys that I bought from a dollar store. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    17:16 I wouldn’t say psychologist. It’s just a pad for feedback device that monitors tension in your forehead. The monitor makes noise to help you focus on relaxing. Any quack can set it up.

    9:49 cartridge box plate, not a belt buckle. A belt buckle would have identifiable parts on the back. The cartridge box plates were held on with two prongs that were stuck through the leather and then the prongs bent over. What cannot be determined from this image is whether it’s authentic or something a reenactor lost during an event.

    (2:20) One of my friends had the timing set device for those artillery fuses. They're timers for airburst fragmentation, usually. He said his uncle "brought it back" from the Army. Yeah, okay. You put the set on the fuse, after it's installed on the shell and turn it to the time you want. When it fires, it starts clocking and so many seconds equals so many meters downrange. When the timer runs out... BOOM! Shrapnel on their heads; Hell, Hate and Discontent rains down. Peace through superior firepower.
