Melbourne consists of over 1,000 suburbs and over 140 different cultures with over 250 individual languages spoken at home. You can eat food from Africa, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Persia, Lebanon, China, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and on and on … pick a cuisine, it’s amazing. Coffee culture is a thing in Melbourne but Starbucks failed abysmally because they didn’t do their market research and failed to comprehend that we are purists and very few like syrupy coffee. Most of us have our own espresso machines at home and drip filtered coffee was superseded back in the late 80’s. There are also loads of Vegan restaurants and several Texas bbq restaurants available in Melbourne.

      Thank you for your comment.
It was such a fun and amazing experience and now we can wait to return. Pretty sure that we saw a Texas barbecue place while we were there. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try it but we did have an amazing Mexican restaurant experience the blew our minds. Because it’s so diverse and you can pretty much get anything from the world. What is your favorite?

@@BradandNicoleBean I have only been to Fancy Hank’s bbq restaurant which I enjoyed, but I would try Big Earle’s next time as it has a 5 ⭐️ rating. It’s hard to choose between Italian which my grandfather introduced me to back in the 1950’s and Chinese. I am always on the lookout for a good Australian/Chinese restaurant. My age I guess because I started eating Chinese food back in the days when you had to take your own saucepans to get take away and I am not so good at cooking it myself whereas I can make most Italian dishes. Also happily travelled around Italy and sampled the cuisine. Enjoy your travels.

Oh that amazing! Italy is one of our favorite countries to visit and we plan to return in June for pizza competition.

@@BradandNicoleBean Mine is Vietnamese. Footscray and Springvale are the main suburbs to go for that but they are also sprinkled around most suburbs.

@barnowl. Oh yeah we can get down on some Vietnamese, in Houston, we have a lot of Vietnamese and Cajun crossover that’s pretty amazing. Thanks for the recommendation, we’ll have to try it next time we’re in town.

If you have to add flavour even sugar it’s not good coffee.😂

@@BradandNicoleBean I’ve always use those two at every coffee shop to check out the barrister, from there you can try other things knowing how good they are. If you live in Melbour of course just move on down the street till you find a barrister you do like. Best to get your coffee the same time each day barristers don’t work all day. Best to ask what part of the day they do work. Next chapter we move on to the bean roster.
