I called customer service when I couldn't reset my daughter's Leap Pad. I downloaded the software via the Leap Frog website (the only app/software available for this device). When I tried connecting the Leap Pad it said I needed to disconnect and create a username. Disconnecting it did nothing. It wouldn't get past this screen, it was still stuck. The rep advised me to unplug the device from my computer. Then to turn off the unit and turn it back on. I then was to hold in the right arrow key, home key, and volume down button at the same time and hold it for quite a few seconds. Then I plugged the unit back into the computer with the software launched. It finally started to reset the device and update the unit.
Customer service advised me to power cycle device. Then hold in right arrow key, home key, and volume down buttons simultaneously. Hold in for several seconds. Let go and reconnect device to computer with Leap Frog software launched. Worked for mine. Good luck!

can you give us the link to the fixer program?
I've had issues with the tablet crashing due to the internal battery being extremely weak and it occasionally going into "recovery mode".
Yes I need the fixer program, it will not connect keep getting failed to launch program.... HELP!
