Ronnie may be the number 1 reason I play guitar. That first album rocks. I listened to it a lot growing up, so it made me really dig the guitar sound. It's a 3 some, so you can play the song alone and play all of the guitar parts. Most of it anyway. Ronnie did 2 tracks on some of the songs I've noticed. No big deal. I find songs boring to play that don't have lot's of guitar to keep me busy and into a groove. This song is a blast to jam. Hey, thanks for the lesson Shawn!

Montrose was bordering on guitar god! The guy cranked out three albums in a row, which three different bands in the late 70’s. This was from his self titled album, after One with Sammy Hagar and Edgar Winters they only come out at night featuring Frankenstein. The guy was awesome as hell!

Ok I am busted and that is a great observation on your part. That guitar is a Chinese knockoff. I got an amazing deal on 2 Les Pauls from China and modified the first one and sold it ( the buyer knows it is from China but did not care because of how amazing it sounds ). It sounded as good as a Custom Shop. Now I am going to rebuild the one in the video you saw. After I change the bridge to a higher density metal and add a bone nut as well as changing the pickups this guitar will sound awesome. Good job Detective.

Woah, I was impressed myself. I forgot how good that guitar is. It is stuck at the bottom of a stack of guitars and I have not touched it for about a year. But yeah that is a Les Paul supreme. It has hollow chambers in it to give it that sound. Then I am playing through an amp no longer available, the Vox combo modeling amp with a pre amp tube. It is on an overdrive setting and I can not remember if I used a delay or reverb. Remember that it is all in the fingers and you can make any guitar with decent straight neck sound good. 90% of your tone comes from your amp.
