Angelina is a vocal chameleon and as always with amazing tone power and emotion. There has never been before and there will never be again anyone like Angelina Jordan!!!! Heaven broke the mold after she popped out.
You gotta know that Angelina just loves to play around with her jazzy styles so it takes a lot of restraint for her to deliver this straight pop vocal style. It's like Micheal Jordan laying the ball off the back board instead of a 360 slam dunk. By the way, every song from this concert is straight up fire.

Alan Walker is a norwegian EDM DJ who rewrote a few old songs of his and asked AJ to sing two of them at his homecoming concert in 2016. Sing me to sleep and Faded. Mr. Walker is a big fan of Angelina, he gave her permission to sing "faded" in this version whenever she wanted.

Nick, this festival is held annually in honor of the norwegian poet Alf Proysen, next to his hut (huisen). AJ performed here a few times. It is very small and intimate.

Yes Wow! This concert stands out from all the previous ones. There was something about Angelina that day. The mix of musical styles that she delivered in one concert, with such a relaxed, assured and confident way, some kind of magic...
Angelina first performed this song at a concert the previous Christmas, with Alan Walker - he is very well known in Europe, this being one of his most famous songs. She was very versatile back then, she has worked hard to develop even more styles and continues to this day. At the last of her summer concerts last year she told us that the support that she gets from her fans makes her work harder to get better and better - the future looks very promising, perhaps you will get to experience a live concert yourself - then you will begin to really understand how incredible she really is!
We all know how Angelina can flip from young girl to mature singer and back but... Angelina actually put her stamp on this song in this performance, she sang it straight up when she performed it with Alan Walker who wrote the song. She slowed it down from the original and put her own embellishments on it. But you should actually check out his return to Norway concert where Angelina sang “Faded” and “Where are you Now”, I think she was maybe 10.

Just looking at Angelina’s face as she is performing clearly indicates that she is hyper aware of everything going on with the arrangement, how she sounds and everything else going on around her. We all know that she has a highly advanced and genius level musical intellect. However, of all the the accolades Angelina is showered with she doesn’t get enough recognition and credit for her being endowed with a highly advanced intuition and instincts. It’s those outstanding attributes that separates her from the herd.

@@kevingood4644 Please, make no mistake, I'm not an expert when it comes to music. I have a good ear and a bit of education. Kinda like knowing a foreign language well enough to read a menu. Anyways, I'd say she's at 3 full octaves (though I don't think we've yet heard her upper limit for several years). Which is very good, but not close to Mariah, who I think has a 5 octave range, or in a ridiculous Dimash-league of over 7. Adele has 3; Amy was just over 3; and Celene has 3 and change.
The Alan Walker live orchestra version of this will stick in your head for days. It may even make you drop what you’re doing to go listen to it 5 or 6 times. And that show is from her magical 10 year old year of hallmark performances. Go enjoy it 😊
How? How have you been reacting to Angelina for so long and not figured out that she can, in fact, sing a song in any way she wishes to? She also sang this song live, in concert with the original composer, Norwegian DJ and electronic pop music star, Alan Walker during his "homecoming" concert in Bergen, Norway when she was 10. He asked her to sing two of his biggest hits, this one, "Faded" and "Sing Me To Sleep". He specifically re-arranged his music for that concert to be performed by an orchestra, and it was fantastic. There are videos out there of her performances. Her performance of "Song For A" by the composer Nico Cartosio, is an orchestral piece, and she sings that without any jazz at all, either. smh...

This entire concert was exceptional (not just for an 11-year-old, but for ANYONE!). It's worth listening to the whole set, from start to finish, to appreciate Angelina's versatility. She sings jazz (of course), pop (like this one), full-throated blues, and even a Bond song. I've run the full concert many times and am always blown away by her ability to cover such a wide range of styles. Wow, I never saw this and a top AJ reactor brings it to me. Amazing. God I should've done better going through Boris' channel I guess. But yeah I mean, this was slightly better than when she did it at 10 live with Alan Walker, and for sure, 11 here and phenomenal, like today, at way too many things for someone her age. And with a nearly adult voice already. There are always hints of her pop voice in her stuff, and it's so Smokey and gorgeous. She's really going to wow the world, being suitable for it all, a voice like that. Tastes will barely even apply.

The performance w/Alan Walker was with full orchestration and at a faster tempo. As is the norm for Angelina, when she does her own arrangement, the tempo backs off and she is freed to inject more raw emotion to suit the lyrics.

As others have said, Alan Walker if pretty huge in Europe and he invited 10 year old Angelina to sing a two songs at his Welcome Home concert and live stream: "Sing Me To Sleep" and "Faded." I've never heard her do "Sing Me To Sleep" again, but she did "Faded" a few times.
