I will forever hold this song so close to my heart. I have a core memory with it.
My dad who passed away in 2019 loooved this song & this movie. He found it on RUclips randomly around 2009/2010.
One morning, he played it on the pc/surround system. I was sleeping in my younger brother’s room & his room was right next to it. It was a split room of 2 with no door. I woke up to this beautiful song & my dad said “it’s a nice song right? Beautiful. I wanna see the movie”.
A few days later I went to an Indian market up a few blocks from our apt building & bought the film then surprised my dad with it. We are not Indian. I am mostly Puerto Rican, & part Colombian-ecuadorian. Might have some Indian ancestry somewhere because I am highly connected to Indian culture. My father loved Indian culture. It is something sacred I share with my dad. My other siblings don’t really watch bollywood or listen to Indian music, but I do. It will stay with my forever. I wish I can turn back time. I wish I can fall asleep & dream that I am waking up in my brother’s room again to this beautiful song & my father standing by the pc asking me if I liked the song. What a beautiful way to wake up. Music is a universal language. It adds color to life.

This song remind me of my school days when I had changed my school..I left the high(secondary) school in March 2009 where I had been studying since beginning of my childhood.. At that time each and everything of my life was at peak... After leaving school, I used to miss everything badly while hearing this song.. Still after 14 years I can feel those golden moments, but in pain, because afterwards things keep on changing with time but never for that much good time..
