G'day Shawn, Yes the Algebuckina bridge is iconic. It was imported from England in the 1880s to go across Scott's creek in the Adelaide Hills on the Adelaide to Melbourne line but turned out to be too short. Later, in 1891, it was erected of the Algebuckina creek near Oodnadatta 1,000 Km (700 miles) north of Adelaide. At Scott's creek they did a big fill and a short girder bridge. Cheers Ken😀
G'day explore off road, I am glad that you enjoyed my video any way. I had a look at your channel. Great places to off road so I have subscribed. Cheers Ken
@@explore_off_road It is a nice rendition off the Algebuckina bridge. The road next to the bridge is the Oodnadatta track a favourite of off roaders. If you look at my channel about the nearest to off roading is this ruclips.net/video/HwngC4U3C04/видео.htmlsi=-9md0S_5Rfr4Bp3e and from Canada ruclips.net/video/F5yFv9q1V9w/видео.htmlsi=qdiHLpVppJ8TsGVI Enjoy Cheers Ken
