Aside from really good tosses and dance sequences, what else did FEUCS give us? SHOWMANSHIP. Its like watching the CDCs of the late 2000's/early 2010's. Its amazing how they were able to give us that kind of showmanship, while keeping the technical aspects in balance. It's been a while since I last enjoyed a good FEU routine, and this one really made me happy. Great job FEUCS, keep it up! Congrats!

FEU is FEU. wag na magtaka kung nakabalik sila sa top 3, dahil may kakayanan sila magawa yun.. wag na maging bitter, be happy na lang.. mahirap ang mga stunts na ginawa ng FEU sa umpisa pa nga lang e, at kung may mali man nakarecover naman agad sila.. ang maganda sa FEU di paulit ulit ang theme at laging may pasabog. tama na basta cheerdance FEU kilala yan..
i noticed that FEU had more toss flyers and based on the scire sheet, they got a high score on tosses..maybe that counts, too. Quantity of talents. #proudtamaraw

Watching the performances again, I agree na they deserve to be 2nd place. Adu's performance was really good and really clean (mas malinis pa ata sa budhi ni Mother Teresa lels) but overall, if we're going to be objective sa mga criteria (tosses, tumblings, etc), I think FEU's was better (just by a smidge).
I'm from AdU and fyi hindi po kami ang nagsasabi na dapat sila ang 1ru. Yung ibang tao lang nagsasabi nun. Tanggap naman ng AdU community na 2nd ru eh, masaya na kami dun kasi nga NGAYON na lang ULIT nakaabot sa podium finish. Sad to see ang harsh nung ibang comment. Pagiging classy na pala labanan ngayon. Congrats nga pala. 😊
Kaya sila naging 2nd place, pantay yung kanilang performance kahit puro deduction na. Ung ibang university, magaling sila sa mga stunts, pero mali mali naman. Kahit perfect ang routine, kulang lang sa dating para sa mga judges. Eto namang FEU, kahit kulang / mali mali yung kanilang performance, stay above sila sa top 3 yung mga elements nila. I am student in National University but i am fan in FEU cheering squad kahit yung school ko ay pinakamagaling ngayon sa cheerleading. Pero ang UAAP 79, eto yung mga university na nag level up pa ng mas mataas sa buong history.
Bago mag reklamo sa result.. check niyo muna yung score sheet para malaman niyo kung san nag katalo FEU and Adu. It was a close fight. Congrats to both teams!!

Coach Randell was the former coach of Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion, sadyang maganda na ang training ng FEU under Coach Jacqueline kaya wala na masyadong hirap for coach Randell to experiment and execute stunts. Unlike before when he was handling Ateneo, medyo hirap. So yeah, just saying.
FEU ang may pinakamataas na deductions kaya kung yung pulido na performance ang pamantayan niyo ng "cheer" at "dance", hindi talaga FEU yan. Mas malinis nga sa AdU pero mas difficult at unique stunts ng FEU. 😉

thailand naman ang gawin ng feu next year. hehehe. nagawa naman na nila ang japan(2010), india/bollywood (2011), china (2014). some other squads did show us routines din na ang theme is pang ibang bansa like adu hawaii/aloha- 2016. ust naman brazil theme nung 2012, egypt theme last 2013, china nung 2014.

What made that TUMBLING judge decides to put 82 points to FEU vs 64.5 points to AdU? I watched both vids over and over and focused on tumblings alone! It was undeniably questionable. UE's tumblings are even better and they got 68.5? Videos don't lie unless edited toh. Haha.

In my eyes, Adamson may appear better but may NOT appear better enough in the eyes of the judges to significanly beat Feu's routine totality (considering technicalities).
Damn!!!! FEU is my alma mater but I don't think they deserve the 1st runner-up. They don't even deserve to be in the top 3. The stunts were not that great and they made a lot of mistakes. They didn't execute their routines well. I finished watching halfway through coz I got bored. Adamson should have the 1st place instead. Oh well!! Still love and respect for my #FEU.

Sounds used was classy but not the performers. How can somebody tells being classy, where its obviously seen how they fail in pyramids and stunts. In fact I cannot exactly recognize it it was broadway or balkroom. Those are too different.

What made that TUMBLING judge decides to put 82 points to FEU vs 64.5 points to AdU? I watched both vids over and over and focused on tumblings alone! It was undeniably questionable. UE's tumblings are even better and they got 68.5? Videos don't lie unless edited toh. Haha.

I don't really get the hype with their performance. Costume, execution, rhythm....meh. It was lackluster. Adamson deserves to be 2nd.

purefoodstuna thats what i thought, too. I was under the impression that adamson would make it to the 1st rank (though im from feu). In my eyes, Adamson may appear better but may NOT appear better enough in the eyes of the judges to significanly beat Feu's routine totality (considering technicalities).

Damn!!!! FEU is my alma mater but I don't think they deserve the 1st runner-up. They don't even deserve to be in the top 3. The stunts were not that great and they made a lot of mistakes. They didn't execute their routines well. I finished watching halfway through coz I got bored. Adamson should have the 1st place instead. Oh well!! Still love and respect for my #FEU.
