Comments here are all wrong. Frieren (during season 1) is absolutely portrayed as the OP protagonist. There are hints later on of others beyond or at her level, but for the story content we're presented she is hundreds of years advanced over 99% of foes.
Frieren has a sentence in a later episodes that proves this. I side with this guy's opinion.
You're obviously from the future lmao. There's not alot of hints about how OP Frieren is before this episode, so you need to chill.

I really like Frieren's take on demons, a whole species of sociopaths.
And yeah Frieren herself is very powerful and very experienced. I'd say it's a stretch to call her OP, but as later episodes will cover all of this in-depth later I won't go into it.

The concept of demons as an animal that developed the ability to speak to use human empathy against us is creative, gotta give it credit, by this definition i think they're not evil but their methods and goals certainly can't coexist with humans. One of the best attributes and survival perks of humans, empathy, used as a weapon and works almost everytime. God i love this show lol

Frieren is not an OP protagonist anime! There are people who can kill Frieren as easily as she killed Qual!
That list is extremely short though. Her biggest weakness is warriors though like all mages
@@bernieburton6520I'm not sure where you pulled that from, but the classic fantasy triangle goes Mage > Melee > Ranger > Mage. There's been nothing in this series to indicate otherwise, and in fact we've seen several instances in this series of Mages dispatching Melee classes easily (Aura over human military, Ubel over bandits, etc)
@@xRakanishu from later in the Manga, Frieren specifically states that a powerful warrior like Stark could easily kill her if they get within a few meters.
@@bernieburton6520 indeed, the basic idea is that warriors are fast enough that if they got that close to a mage before the mage could prepare a spell, then the mage would not have enough time to use a spell at all.
