What a tremendous tribute to the "best fighting game ever made" and the amazing community behind it! The interview format really adds that personal and welcoming touch, and is very representative of the VF community as a whole. Great job on the video, and the only criticism I can make is that it had to end! :)

A scene in Japan is showing, and she starts talking about how we have to visit and get some amazing food. ...I was like "honey forget the sushi, first thing I do in Japan, is get me some VF tootsie." I downloaded this game since it came out on PS+, and I've been playing pretty much every day since (252 hours and counting as a matter of fact.) This is one of the best communities I have ever been a part of.

LOVE this video! I love seeing any video giving VF its props and showing it love. By far my favorite 3-D fighting game series of all time and one of my favorite video game series period. First played VF1 at a movie theater lobby of all places back in 1993 and my 7 year old mind was blown, I had never seen anything like it. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Virtua fighter is the king of all 3D fighting games and if it wasn't for this game Tekken dead or alive and soul Calibur etc would have never existed if it wasn't for this game for the 3D fighting game genre
It's good to hear the experiences of both veterans and new players in VF. When the exclusivity of VFUS with Playstation ends, I hope it can be distributed on Steam or other massive platforms, so more players can get to know this game. The outlook for the fighting game scene looks interesting. Street Fighter 6 proposing a graphic jump using the RE engine according to rumors, Tekken with experience using Unreal Engine and Virtua Fighter using RGG Studio's Dragon Engine. We are definitely living a new golden age in fighting games. It's time for more people to jump in and play more of these games. I hope that the upcoming VF 6 will be a good alternative for many new players.

Amazing video, thank you for this. I only casually enjoy VF because there's not a lot of players left where I live, and I don't want to pay for PS+ anymore so I just play on fightcade, but whenever I do it is an absolute blast. Absolutely phenomenal video game that I hope soon gets the next generation push it deserves.
It's staggering to me that some people consider Tekken to be superior. Maybe it's a case of apples v oranges for some but IMO Tekken has a cheaper, more gimmicky feel with questionable creative choices with respect to the "power" of some characters/techniques. The ruleset in VF is far more consistent and the depth of the combat engine is far greater. While I've never found it to be a problem, I think VF's comparative lack of immediacy has hindered it's popularity significantly. EDIT as great as that resource for VF info must be, for me I prefer to enjoy a game organically and that would remove some of my enjoyment. I like to learn a character's abilities over time, yeah it takes longer but for me it's far more satisfying and in a sense, somewhat akin to learning a martial art, it's only over time and through repeated application that the essence of a given technique is revealed.
