- Join me as I travel to Coventry to collect a Ford Ranger, and stop off to explore the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, Warwickshire on the way back. I'll give you a quick overview tour of the British Motor Museum, where we'll see bonkers but brilliant concept cars, and explore a little bit of our British motor industry heritage through the classic cars along the way. This is one of my favourite museums and I had a lot of fun making this video!

Even just from the thumbnail, I knew right away this is at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. I have an annual membership. My Mum and I often stop there on our way between home in Canterbury and the NEC Birmingham for the many events we attend up there every year. Including of course the two NEC Classic car shows. Namely the Resto Show in March (attend 2 of the 3 days) and the bigger Classic Car Show in November, where we attend all 3 days. I'm newly subscribed to your channel and will watch this video with great interest as a refresher of our previous visits as well as to look forward to future visits.
I did a project on the Heritage Motor Centre in the 90s. Its good to see theres a lot more to see there now and a better name too. Definitely worth a visit if you like British.

What an interesting museum. As well as the fuel economy isn't there a problem with adjusting the power output of a turbine engine?
I'm not sure, but quite possibly - I think "fascinating but flawed" sums it up!
My son and I love visiting Gaydon(my wife less so! ) and we last visited in April this year so it was nice to be reminded of all the exhibits again. Hopefully we will return soon (wife permitting). Enjoyed the video.
