I know that I didn't include songs like
'Baby Baby' but I tried to
include every important song or
title track of SNSD from 2007 to 2017
If you wonder why I didn't count the chorus parts
in 'Party' and 'Holiday' it's because they all sing
the chorus but just parted so it's almost the same
as they would sing it all together. It just would
make it difficult to compare the other song to
them because there I didn't count the chorus.

TaeYeon and Jessica was literally the only two that carries the all the vocals in SNSD back when they were still rookies. Tae and Jess took almost every difficult line

Well it was Taeyeon and Jess with SEO Hyun supposrting. Then Tiffany got more belting and adlibs and also sub group collabs. Then Taeyeon got an obvious increase of lines in most songs compare to Jessica probs be coz Jess was supposed to also be the dance line. After Jessica left Tiffany kinda took over her second main spot and she had the main parts of some of the new songs. Now in Oh gg- they made it pretty even coz ever since they focus on solo activities they show their skills more and Hyoyeon who was meant to be the least lines increased a little be coz of rap trend in kpop and in Oh Gg their parts was spread very even. But for the hard parts for the songs it was Taeyeon and Sunny.

Taeyeon and Jessica shared most high notes and difficult parts.
most of the highnotes was gave to Taeyeon and some was distributed to Jessica and TiSeo. But the difficult parts are all gave to Taeyeon.
Even as a rookie, her voice was strong and powerful. A mix of good training and natural talent.
Taeyeon looked the prettiest during Party, Lion Heart & All Night Era♥️ Especially Lion Heart she was glowing that era♥️

We have to admit: Taeyeon is the strongest vocalist ever (followed by Jessica, then Sunny, Tiffany, and Seohyun) and no one can match up to her vocal colour and power.

Seohyun is a Lead Vocalist while Jessica was a Main Vocalist during her time in SNSD. Of course, quite a bit of time has passed and Seohyun is a vocalist with a stronger voice while Jessica's technique is better, but this comment was made almost four years ago so things were a little different back then. However, I can understand why you would think this way based on the current situation so I support your opinion! ❤

I didn't say she surpassed her - the other commenter was saying that they think Seohyun is a better vocalist than Jessica (based on the way they wrote it) so I was just stating the facts about Jessica and Seohyun's positions and techniques in SNSD while Sica was still in the group, but now, it's been almost 10 years so there's no way to know for sure if Seohyun is actually better than Jessica (but most people compare their techniques and find that Seohyun's current vocals are better than the last we heard of Jessica's).

You can't deny that even though both of them are Main Vocalists, Taeyeon is the 1st Main Vocal. And plus Taeyeon obviously a very much more skillful vocalist compared to Jessica. So it's natural.
@@TOANYBJs well...taeyeon had powerful voice instead Jessica had sweet voice but you can't deny Jessica high notes are a way better than Taeyeon... and both of there voice suit SNSD songs, after Jessica left.. SNSD seem more like disbanded... there songs all night and holiday doesn't do well in charts... and than Seutiffysoo left SNSD is no more...
