I don't know if you are gonna read this and I'm sure that you've heard this already a lot of times, but watching you over the years (from Germany by the way)being just slightly younger than you, I always taught you were the coolest, prettiest and best dressed girl ever. Thanks for being that rolemodel, that we, may it be unknowingly, dearly needed. You two opened up a lot of doors. And thank you both for keeping on opening doors, windows and conversations.

I LOVED this show. I wore the hats, I was the fast talking friend. Hearing Mayim ask Jenna about her new love life was very touching for me. As a queer kid it was beautiful to see her ask and learn this part of her friends life. She looked genuinely happy for her. I'm emotional again writing this but that made me cry LoL

It’s already being put together. If you see her podcast episode with David Lascher, she asks him point blank if he’d be into it, and he’s totally on board. Mayim said all the other cast members have already agreed, David was the last one she asked. So as of a couple of weeks ago, it’s in the serious planning stages. Especially since the demise of Call Me Kat. Don Reo, who created Blossom, is in charge.
30 minutes in an I’m loving this so much!! Not going to lie if you could get Mario Lopez or Joey Lawrence I wouldn’t be mad! Also LOVED Blossom. Watching it back it was so far ahead of its time. It dealt with such deep issues.

I didn’t watch Blossom religiously as there were years we went without TV, but I saw episodes here & there. I really enjoy these “reunion” podcasts; you can just see quiet joy pour out of Mayim in these in a way that’s different from other interviewees.

Mayim, I am a lot older than both of you but my kids grew up with Blossom in their lives. However, my memory of you is from Your roll in Beaches. Playing a young Bette Midler character in the movie had to be a challenge. Bette Midler was and is a dynamic performer and a character in her own life. You were so good in the role. You and Jenna were the role models for best friends for kids when Blossom was aired. Hearing you talk about what life was like for you then was a great ride into the past, mine as well as yours. The best to you both.
This was so good. In the 90s I had the biggest crush on both of them. Being born in 81 and growing up on the 90s, yes, this was a different time. Snail mail, land line phones and the sitcom. Thank you for this. The evolution of you both has been a phenom journey to witness👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾

Jenna wore the hats way more than you did Mayim - I didn’t realize that until I re-watched the episodes all on Hulu. It’s so great to get a backseat to real friends catch up. This felt like a conversation with people I went I HS with. I’m in the same age range as you 2 are. So much fun and it always seemed like you really got along so glad to know it’s true. So glad you both had each other. I could so relate to being “presentable” I’ve never worn or liked make up. It was hard and is and I wasn’t on TV - I am sad for you guys for that. I am so grateful you endured all that to come to my living room with me through those years. You both are so grounded and it shows in how you both are. I love the coded notes. You guys were texting on paper that’s fantastic. It definitely was an innocence. Thank you so much for this episode.

Almost a year late, but I HAVE to say that I was OBSESSED with Six as a kid. Sadly, I was bullied a lot in elementary school, and I got great solace from watching Six on Blossom, my favorite tv show at the time, and how quick-witted and funny she was. In the 3rd grade, I actually changed the cadence of my speech to talk fast and witty like Six. It was that personae that got me through my elementary school and subsequently my middle school years. I guess I learned how to fake confidence until I was able to cultivate it from Six. Thank you so much for this interview! Made my heart smile for my (our) younger selves. ❤️

Great show. I was older but young & naive when Blossom appeared. Had just gotten married, despite a sense of spiritual calling toward solo life, & the show helped me remember the spirited girl in myself. Girls are girls at heart, our whole lives, & it is great we get to be ourselves now, no makeup, no bustles & hoop skirts, without having to bear 15 kids & stay married till death. I'm so grateful to be free & following my own path now. Thanks for helping us all!

Coincidentally, I just re- watched the "Blossom" pilot episode (haven't seen it since it aired back when) ... HILARIOUS!!! The writing is hilarious! When Blossom sarcastically told her dad, "I'm having kirk Cameron's baby" I spit my water across the room laughing 🤣
First off I loved Blossom and Jenna was amazing and so was Mayim. Where you are talking about being the Quirky Leading Ladies it reminds me of Laverne and Shirley two strong female leads who were quirky best friends. It was the female version of the Odd Couple but Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams had that similar energy but they were also much older at the time.

Please do a reboot. Shows like this really helped formed who I am today. Jenna was my best friend. I even wrote a letter to her when I was a kid.
