While listening to a recording of Penny Serenade, Julie begins reflecting on her past. She recalls her impulsive marriage to newspaper reporter Roger Adams, which begins on a deliriously happy note but turns out to be fraught with tragedy. Other songs remind her of their courtship, their marriage, their desire for a child, and the joys and sorrows they have shared. A flood of memories come back to her as she ponders on their present problems and how they arose.

Don’t get me wrong, i don’t hate her, I don’t wish any harm. The weird thing is that I have to keep a little bit of love for her because she is the mother of my children. This is a great drama . Well made , Directed and acted . Irene Dunnewas always well cast . Cary Grant did very well well in this excellent film often overshadowed by some of Grant’s other films .

Wonderful movie, my second time watching it but can’t help feeling sad.
What a wonderful movie. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions. very well written, and great actors. It was so sad when Tina died. It is so true in real life that when a young couple loses a child it causes divorce in a lot of cases. I have seen it more than once in my lifetime. I am 66 years old now and am so fortunate, both of my children are still alive and well. It did make my eyes whell up with tears , after all of these years. That’s when you know it was a really good movie. The ending was well written and made me happy! Thanks for sharing this with us out here in south east Alabama USA.☮️❤️
It is a wonderful movie. I've seen it before, a few times but, it's so good, it never gets old. You notice something different from the last time you saw it. I'll be 64 next week, I don't have any children but, I have nieces and nephews and they mean the World to me.

I only use utube for my entertainment. Music , movies, and following people that travel in sailboats, motorhomes, vans, and other people that are on the move out there having fun. I must confess I did not like the ending of this movie. If a person loses a beloved dog or cat, they replace it with a new puppy or kitten. People do not replace a child. Just Saying.
