I’m glad I know what love looks like, with my husband. I’m sure many people already know what love looks like with the people they love. Sherpa is blessed to be so loved and taken care of everyday by Jamie. And many people love their pets just as much as these two do.
@@JMarieCAlove they're not "pets" if you're doing it right. They're family. Also, a dog is 10x more loyal than any human could ever be. They're also smarter, more compassionate, and overall better creatures than people.

I've noticed the
way Jamie always
puts Sherpa's water
bowl down for him,
e.g. when they arrive
the holiday site.
And have you noticed,
the water bowl in the red
van has a lip round
the edge so it doesn't
spill.
And it's so kind of Jamie
to put the steps down,
for getting in and out
of the van .
What a lovely life that
sweet dog is having.

We have watched Sherpa age his whole life on video.
It's gonna be hard whenever he's gone and his life on videos for viewing.
How do I know? I videoed and recorded my Rottweilers whole life of 9 yrs. I cry every time I watch her videos.

Great idea to take him to a beach to help recover, he clearly loves them.

There's something about the beach that makes Sherpa's tail turn naughty. The big guy always has try to get it to behave. I'm glad he got close to at least one doggo. It was a brave little pupper until Sherpa started talking, then it was "Uhh.... I think I'll stand over here behind mum." Typo edit.

What an awesome day you both had! So glad the weather turned out. I laughed when you said “Come on chunky bum!”
I'll bet the sleepiness is from Isoflurane, an inhaled anesthetic. Halothane is also used and is out of the body pretty much instantly. Isoflurane is fat soluble and is slowly expelled from the body in about a week. It's what leads to that draggy feeling you after surgery. Sherps is acting exactly how I would expect. Alert but easily tired.
I am happy that Sherpa is healthy now.. He is kind hearted doggo

What beautiful beaches! And I bet you two had a a wonderful time. It’s nice to get a way to relax and see a new scenery and hear the ocean. The beaches you two were at reminds me of where I lived in Cambria, California, on the central coast, a small town on the coast. The beaches look about the same. My husband and I lived a cross the street from the Pacific Ocean, where he grew up since he was a kid. I’m from Los Angeles so it was a big difference living in a city to living in a very small beach town. Highway 1 takes you up the coast to Monterey and Carmel. A beautiful drive. My husband’s niece lives in Chippenham, so I hope we can visit her and her family and I hope to visit the beaches on the Englands coast, too! Sherpa is too cute! 😁💖
