The new truck looks like it was taken care of and being a fleet truck that's saying something. I agree with you that eventually you need a 13spd, but for now that automatic will get you down the road. Congratulations on the new addition, and now you are officially a fleet owner!

I would leave the deer guard for protection...since it's allready their but if it wasn't; I probably wouldn't add it(buy it) extra; plus it gives it a different personality from the freight shaker...
Always go with your first mine ... I thought it was a good idea to just take a mudflap off truck #1 to put on truck#2 to pass the inspection. And as I thought about it more; (if it was me) and I'm a bit more parshall to the freightliner; I would do all new upgrades to the hangers, matching flaps and tips( flap weights) as well as quarter fenders to take it on up a notch and transfer those older ones to the international... then if my driver showed worthy of upgrades then the next go round would go to that truck or each upgrade from truck#1 would go to truck#2... such as lights,flaps,stacks,etc that could be interchanged... Better you that me because those matching wheels and fresh tires would be slapped on the freightliner asap and I would just have chrome fronts on the international until I could get new chrome wheels for freightliner; but i guess that why I don't have any trucks !!! Just my take on it. She loooks good and I wish you much success to where together they will make enough money for you that you have them both spec out the way you want them or blossom into more truck/trailer adventures if you so choose too.

The truck looks good so far. I dont think its gonna pull much better under a trailer. Its a 10 speed with probably a 450 cummins. Thats basic company spec. But i think itll be fine. As for the deer guard, might as well keep it, it can only save the truck from more damages anyway.
Awesome job on your 2nd truck. When are you taking it out to Brad. To fix the fuel and coolant issue. You're not going to leave it out in Walmart parking lot for a week. In hot ATL.

I sure hope you drive truck to be able to be an expert to comment like this. The only time I ever see him complain is if there is open space in front of the docks filled with skids or parked trailers. His truck is long and the turning radius is very limited, maybe you can meet up with him and show him how to back up a trailer in tight spots if your so good 🙂 He's actually really good considering his truck he drives, and I've never seen him have to open the door to look which has shocked me seeing other drivers doing like this one has done. BTW I'm not a driver but a mechanic and have to back trailers into shop doors with inches to spare which is harder then just hitting a dock, our bays are not drive in then out.

Looks like a fine rig minus the auto trans……quiet too, you can sneak up to Fidell’s crib and surprise him, teepee the house. Clean it up, definitely throw some stacks on it and leave the grill guard on….oh, at some point swap the trans out for a 13 speed, maybe even an 18 speed for step deck operations….and a headache rack, give Fidell someplace to ride……good job guys!!!!

Hi LoneStar very nice i have a Audi A4 S-Line Auto and it pulls like a train though i past my test in a stick shift i wouldn't go back to it, as lone as you change gearbox oil and filter you cannot go wrong wagon or car. I don't know why your mate calls Auto gearboxes slow because i leave everything standing at lights and i only set off as if i am in a stick shift, unless your truck as a limiter on it but i wouldn't change back to stick shift changing gears constantly again.
