    Working with Fasle, my former boss at Conrad Centennial Singapore during 2012-2013, was an enlightening experience. As a part-time bellman, I absorbed valuable lessons not only from him but also from the entire team. Fasle's presence and leadership style were inspiring, and I gained insights into customer service that continue to shape my professional approach today. Although I pursued different interests in other industries afterward, the skills I honed at Conrad, particularly in customer interaction, have proven invaluable in my current role where I engage with travelers from diverse backgrounds worldwide.

    i spent my entire 20s in the hotel industry after ORDing. I was front office staff for 4/5 star hotels and this video made me miss my hotelier days. but the shift work is impossible for a family man, I really respect everyone in this line of work and especially those who are supporting their families with this career.

    Though it clearly was a mockup, the concierge should tactfully ask if there are medical or safety reasons for guest asking concierge to keep an eye on spouse rather than start by explaining policies. Unimpressed

      Ok but why couldn’t they do it themselves if that was the reason? Or tell them if that were the case? They’re not mind readers. And also, people can lie. They’re just trying to avoid being sued if they violate someone’s privacy.

    • @3forte
      @3forte 5 месяцев назад

      No, absolutely not. The concierge's response was perfect. You may not know, but there are plenty of jealous ex-husbands/wives out there that would follow people and violate their privacy. They would not hesitate to break into a hotel or manipulate hotel employees. Asking the individual for reasons invites them to think that he is open to the possibility for spying, and that is absolutely not part of his job. Shut them down hard, right in the beginning. Spying for a suspicious individual is a good way to get fired with no defense. The only thing he really should have done was call hotel security to watch out for the guy.

      braindead comment. if you needed the hotel staff to look out for your partner due to medical/safety reasons, you wouldn't tell the hotel staff to "spy" on your partner
