I've been anticipating this comparison! Thanks 👍🏾👍🏾 Ok, now that I've watched this video, I can't wait until the next video & demonstration of these both! 👍🏾👍🏾
You advised getting 2 Zip's, though. 1 for estimator. 1 for crew. Therefore, when/if Zip cord severs - you have a back up. And you can continue to use your (what sounds like) preferred machine while the other Zip's in repair. Brilliant.
Hmm..We haven't had problems with it really. We have had the zip level calibrated a couple times now, but it seems to be pretty accurate for us at least.
I don’t know the U-level but I have tryed the “Carry on” function of the Zip Level without good results. I have called technical corporation several times and the repetidle delay a video presentation of the use of that function. What I think is that the Zip Level was launched in the market with limited operational functionality. I mean, the carry on function does not work as advertised For big areas (500-600 feet or so) nothing is better and faster than a rotary laser (unless you have access to high tech drone) I find a waste of money and I want return it That is the problem, you are reviewing a product (and endorsing it) that you said “has functions that still don’t know to use”, so, use those functions, evaluate them, and then, and then give your opinion of that product In conclusion, grab your Zip Level and take to a 800’x800’field and take elevation of all the field, and then give a say I tell toy what: I change my 100’ cord Zip Level for a nice Bosh rotary laser kit with 800’ range
I appreciated watching your review. I ended up buying the Smart Level (the U-Level's other branded name) after watching your comparison along with Pave Tool's. My experience was different than yours, however. Have you ever checked your readings in going back to your zero point after you're done with all of your readings to see if it's still stable at zero? Mine fluctuated a lot. I posted my thoughts/review here: ruclips.net/video/mcwdmruOLzM/видео.html

Thank you! We will try to get that one out soon!
Thanks for the video! Your videos are always very informative.
Interesting instruments! Surely someone will come out with a wireless one of these! That would be the ultimate! Thanks, Tom
They have a new device that works relative to itself for measurements and calculations but lacks the functionality
i like the idea on showing how to use them
that should be a good video

Very durable, it hit the ground pretty hard when you showed how the magnet base sucks.
lol yes
Great tools for grading. Very frustrating for patios. These units seldom hold zero and rarely do two units agree with each other.

They have the Bluetooth mapping for zip level now
Interesting. I’ll have to look at that
Thanks for video! I’m sold🙏
Wow great video!
Zip level
Far superior
Glad I didn’t get that laser level.
4" rise, 6" rise, 6" rise. 16" it is

Good choice! I'm sure you'll be happy with it!
@@Aumanlandscape Based on the info I shared on my review video, I went back to ZipLevel.
