@@FootballMadeSimple you are saying kompany has weird tactics have you seen Brighton New manager style of Play and Juventus new manager style of Play check them out then come back and say which one is more weird. As always I love your analysis videos.😁😁😁😉😉😉🌟🌟🌟👌👌👌👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥😎😎😎🏆🏆🏆.
Teams that defend deep are scoring counter attacks and he still isn't dealing with that ..Leverkusen ,Aston villa and Frankfurt have shown everyone how its done.
this is where he absolutely *needs* palinha a physical ex prem players with a lot of experience doing the dirty work and helping CB'w unlike pavlo who's an excellent passer, but becomes a victim of child absue in case of a counter
i highly rate Kompany's ideas, but there are still 3 questions that need time to check: 1. Human management, always human management, either with the players, staff and the board. Bayern has no place for any sigma male, proven by Ancelotti's demise. The breaking point is always tip-toeing away from him. I want to see how he can deal with that where Flick, Nagelsmann and Tuchel fell 2. Player quality for the system. Currently, Min-Jae and Upamaguire are their Achilles heel, plus aging Neuer. 3. Their consistency. Can Olise keep up to the end, or just a new Sane? He's basically what pre-injury Sane was. Gnabry is really making a comeback, or just like Anthony Martial? Can Min-Jae and Upamecano keep up with this system's extreme defensive demands even in UCL knock-outs? Or there will be a Paris taking that heel off?
I know Kane has problems scoring in big matches but he is such a special player. He is a deadly striker but he’s unselfish and he’s an amazing passer that loves to give his teammates opportunities to score.
What i saw today was a high sucide high line from kompany in which they lost possession in upper part of the pitch and resulted into a counter attack goal for Frankfurt, there are good signs for this Bayern team but that high line is gonna cost them goals like they did today. Teams like Barca will take advantage of this.
The defending is very worrying the spaces they leave behind make it easy for teams like frankfurt to exploit. Hopefully they can find solutions to make a good press while being compact at the back
Great timing. They have played mid to poor teams until Leverkusen. Some of us called patience before he went went through this stretch of 2-3 games. 1 loss and 2 draws now.
Although I like Kompany and think the job he does is very, very solid, I am also concerned. As you showed, Bayern uses essentially a 2-4-4/ 2-4-3-1 in possession, which is very offensive, especially against top opponents. The CB Duo (Upa and Kim atm) have to defend half the pitch alone and if no change happens, then Bayern will continue to be very vulnerable if the opponent is good at quick transitions or counterattacks just like we saw today against Frankfurt und as we also saw that against Villa. The defensive stability and thus the overall balance is lacking, despite the fact that the xGA-values are fine so far ... The result is that basically every game becomes a gamble if our attack can score more than the opponent's attack. The difference to Guardiola's tactics can be seen in the results: Bayern won 9:2 against a small team (Dinamo Zagreb) in the Champions League, whereas City "just" won 4:0 against Slovan Bratislava, but they didn't concede any goal and not even any chance! I think this defensive stability is more important than to score as much goals as possible (which seems to be Kompany's objective), because you only win titles if you concede few chances and goals.
id would appreciate it if you could bring two teams tactics head to head... explaining how both play and how they could play against each other and who could have the upper hand
Is Cole Palmer a good player ? Is Kompany a good manager ? The historical data is too short. Wait another 4 years before making any decisions. Don't forget that he inherited the squad. Show me Kompany with the Champions League trophy, and I will become a believer .
Burnley got relegated because the quality of the players are just bad for premier league. Now he got world class players and with his tactics, it's just worked
As a Bayern Munich fan, I find myself increasingly frustrated with Kompany's playing style. The team seems to rely heavily on a single tactic throughout the entire match, from kickoff to the final whistle. Unlike other successful managers like Pep, who understand the importance of varying tactics such as possession, ball circulation, defensive solidity, and counter-attacks, our team's rigid approach is concerning. For instance, during the game against Frankfurt, we were in the lead during extra time, but the risky defensive shape left only two defenders vulnerable to a team known for deadly counter-attacks. It's crucial for the team to be more strategic and adaptable. With players like Coman and Davies on the field, a more defensive and counter-attacking approach would likely have been more effective in preventing Frankfurt from breaking through. Furthermore, the team's tendency towards hurried and misplaced passes is a glaring issue. When outnumbered at the back and with the entire team pushed forward, attempting ambitious forward passes is unnecessarily risky. Just as we are unpredictable in our attacking play, our defensive strategy should also be dynamic. By sitting back, absorbing pressure, and striking on the counter, we can catch opponents off guard and apply trademark pressing when necessary. City's ability to lull opponents into a false sense of security before delivering a decisive blow highlights the importance of strategic play. We must focus on playing the opponent rather than sticking to a predetermined game plan throughout the match. Improving our game management and adapting to the opponent's tactics will make Bayern a formidable force under the boss's guidance.
that's what Bundesliga cannot provide like EPL. In Premier League, the competition is extremely harsh, and the team quality differenciate so much while each teamhas their own ideas beside the classic kick n' rush counters. Pep tweaks Man City to avoid them from effectively countering him, even if some ideas are crazy and/or straight up awful. And in Man City, Pep holds absolute power and respect from every side, especially the club directors. He has total freedom to control Man City team, further amplifying his radical demands that a player needs to be well-rounded in many skills, many roles and coordinate with each other in the match. Some ideas are shit like Sterling false 9, the super narrow 2-3-5 in early 22/23 season, or Gundogan single pivot in 20/21 UCL final, but eventually the team still gets the trophy. His athletes also keep growing and thriving until highly circumstancial things hamper them, mostly injuries. In Bayern, things are completely different. Very few clubs have players so powerful that they can directly overthrow a manager, and FC Hollywood is always a reminder of that feature in Bayern team. And Bayern is so powerful that it's basically the political focus when it comes to football. Being Bayern manager is just as toxic as being a Man United manager, you're dealing with a team filled with high ego atheletes and the directors who straight up biases the players and not giving a look about your own integrity. Bundesliga teams and Bayern have identical playstyle, but the competition is limited and Bayern can easily squash the league with their players. The education and training system grooves that playstyle into every kid, and they just grow the same. This Chinese-like system is designed to farm trophies, but it seems they need to open a little bit. Nagelsmann is one that i feel very sad. He favors versatility through simplicity, he is crazy hungry for progress like Pep, he wants to break the mold you just said. But he also wants absolute power like Pep, that alone is a challenge against the highest egos plus the most veteran and celebrated players who can overthrow him.
It's all fun and games until they face proper team lmao. They couldn't even win against Leverkusen, Aston Villa, and now Frankfurt too XD Good for "dominating" league though until he gets found out eventually.
not the best timing to publish this video 😭
Think all the principles mentioned (including defensive frailties) still apply 🙌
@@FootballMadeSimple of course haha I don't doubt that, it was just funny to see the video coming out seconds after their draw 😂
actually it was a dominant match, its just a problem when you play with a high line against a Counter Attacking side like Frankfurt.

Tough result today but overall I think he is doing a good job. Olise thriving!
This showing up just as Bayern concede 3 to Frankfurt's counter attacks is really fun

This is why Palhinha has to,Play next to Kimmich

In attack they are monsters 💀 but in the defense are weak!

Love your analysis and content❤️❤️

Some players in the Bayern squad are trash
Best tactics account on youtube keep up the great work!
So he's basically doing his best Postecoglu impression with a touch of Pep.

Flick will dogwalk him 🤞

The timing of this video is unbelievable 😭 Anyways keep up good content ❤
Villa exploited the advanced position of Neuer with Duran's goal last week
Atleast you listen to us thank you ...even though the timing is a little bit off😂
i think he will change by the break and train them into a 3-2-5 for more stability
Is Cole Palmer a good player ?
Is Kompany a good manager ?
The historical data is too short. Wait another 4 years before making any decisions.

The timing is immaculate lmao
It is quite comfortable to be a tactical genius at Bayern...
Burnley got relegated because the quality of the players are just bad for premier league.
Now he got world class players and with his tactics, it's just worked
Kompany has more contengencies plan than Batman.
Man he's good but that shit tough. To early to judge
Can be handy for Brazil National team I fancy
Until they meet Barca wild be fascinating

This is funny 😂😂
what app do you use in making your videos, apart from once video
Is it just me or is the defensive style a version of the same but worse than that of Flick's Barcelona?
The timing
He needs to play pauhlinha
Similar tactics like Flick's Barcelona WTF
Kompany is an admirer of Hansi Flick its obvious he copied Flick
Do slot pls
And they lost to villa. Perfect timing.
Similar tactics like Flick's Barcelona am saying it again. Barcelona vs Bayern is going to hit.
Exactly, he won the CL with these ultra-offensive tactics, but after that, managers were figuring it out.
It's all fun and games until they face proper team lmao. They couldn't even win against Leverkusen, Aston Villa, and now Frankfurt too XD
Good for "dominating" league though until he gets found out eventually.
I mean neuer threw todays game
Kompany has bad luck against Premier league teams
HE SHOULD JUST START PALINHA!!!
Just after bayern draw
😂 his tactics are shit… good opponents will win AND score a lot of goals… this tactic with this shitty defense is suicidal😂….
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
But wise man once said
