- In todays video, we went over the simple install of the shortie GP on our Honda Rebel 500. This small but yet effect mod really helped bring the bike to life. With the baffle installed, I replaced my 2 brothers exhaust with this. Completely satisfied. It seemed to be a little sluggish at first without the baffle, but the baffle fixed that and didn't lose much of the throaty sound with it installed. Had to get rid of some of the bulk with the rear fender, light/plate brick, & rear seat/pegs. It only made sense to remove the huge exhaust as well.
Definitely sounds better
I'm looking for decent after market pipes that won't require a change I the timing etc

Was thinking about getting this bike. First bike. But I’m also 5’10 heard I might be too tall for it. But you look like a tall guy. Thoughts?
lol i appreciate that but i am by no means tall , im 5’6 . I think 5’10 should be fine

One thing I would adjust is the handle bars
what complaints do you have on this? i need to upgrade my bike and looking to add an exhaust that boosts the sound while fitting under my saddle bags.
Not a bad little exhaust. It doesn’t sound like the most amazing thing but it’s definitely louder and looks way cleaner . Otherwise for $60 can’t ask for anything better

Basically straight pipe not even exhaust…bad for your valves ring no back pressure..I trashed mine after 2 days used. lost high end power and motor runs hotter.
That is not true on this particular model there is a catalytic converter before the pipe and an o2 sensor before it so doing this will do NO harm to the motorcycle
